Okay, it's a pretty dry market, which alarms me for such a metropolitan area. There ARE some liquor stores as well as some malls that carry a certain brand, which I won't name, but I've seen it, seen it used and I can surmise that this is the cheapest and worst slapped together merchandise I've ever seen and people are being charged MAXIMUM dollar for this stuff.

Why?

Because I think opportunistic people trying to capitalize on the novelty of the item rather than the benefits, and rape a few wallets along the way.

Vapers are few and far between here in the Bay. But I make absolutely sure I'm walking around in public, got my blue LED 510s, plenty of batteries, and a couple of extra carts on me so people can try them, and I can discard them after.

This can be a little taxing on my wallet, but this is REALLY more about public awareness and dispelling some of the crap the FDA is spreading around here, which is what I'm hearing a LOT about with the people I deal with.

Just one PV distributor around here that I know and trust, but his shipments have been stalled, so I have to send people to Totally Wicked.

As much as I appreciate Totally Wicked, I'm at odds about sending anybody there for e-liquid as I just can't see any practicality of offering what WOULD BE a reasonably priced and damned good e-liquid. But the fact that they feel the necessity to make their client-base pay extra $$$ because of the nice bottles, nice labeling, fancy boxes. This all costs a buttload of money that is figured back into the cost of their product.

So yeah, that's one of the reasons I decided to sell liquid. But that's slow going as there just isn't enough vapers here in the bay.

Man, I'm rambling...Back to the point

It's dry here in terms of vapers. I make sure I'm using my product as many places as I can and that people see me using it. And if i catch an inquisitive look, rather than wait for them to approach me, I approach them.

And it's not my sales angle, it's my public awareness angle. I invested a great deal of money and 29 years of my health to die slowly and feel like ****. I don't mind people knowing they don't have to and can save money while not giving up much...

Same here - though not in the biz, I've been trying to educate others lo these many days... I'm kind of shocked at how this hasn't caught on around the Bay. We need a couple of hip bars in The City to promote themselves as "vape friendly." Then all the others would follow suit.
