My bottles all have "shake well" printed on the label from all vendors except the ones from Tasty Vapes, even though they look well mixed to the naked eye.

I do have one juice that I just got yesterday (Ms T's dill pickle) that separates quite obviously- it even mentions in the sales description that the juice tends to separate and should be shaken really well. I've been dripping with it, which works great, I just give it a really good shake before I drip each time, but I don't think it would work well in a tank at all, because it does look just like an oil and vinegar salad dressing after it sits a while.

I am an avid shaker before filling anything, and I wear my PV on a landyard, so the juice in my tanks is always shaking around. Shake your juices, shake your juices  I do allow some fresh juices to sit a few days to sort of steep, but not open to air, it always makes them taste like feet when I do that

See, as much as I want to believe that it doesn't matter whether you shake or not, I feel that the whole notion of "steeping" implies a certain level of heterogeneity (unevenness) of the flavors until it becomes more homogeneous. It is not a blatant settling of parts like a vinaigrette or something, but on a very, very minor level. But, that is just my theory...where are all those wonderful professors that advise around this forum?

Can anyone tell me if this is flawed thinking or if there is any validity to it?.

Yeah, when I vaped cinnamon flavors there was clear separation. Brandon at MsT's told me it was the eugenol and cinnamaldehyde. Ohai, you are right! It did separate like an oil and vinegar salad dressing.

Hey everyone, could any of you that talk to your vendors ask them what their take on the shake is? I asked Don from BWB this morning and you can read in my op what he said. If Don says shake, I shake! I wish to know a little more science on the shake, though. Apparently Frosty already schooled us on the psychology of it! LOL

My favorite vendor writes a note on the invoice: "Shake and Vape".

I never knew this many vendors either suggested or flat out stated that their juices needed to be shaken. I had always just gone off of Don's words (though I can't remember when I read his take on the issue, originally) but now I am realizing that this is pretty across the board with most vendors. Do all pg juices need to be shaken? Aside from some Pabst Blue Ribbon, I mean Dekang, most of my juices are pg/vg blends, if not all vg.

I just found this on TW's website, this is an excerpt:

A simple method of steeping that many of you probably do without even thinking is giving the bottle a good shake before you use it. Some prefer to swirl the liquid around the bottle, but whichever method you choose you are in effect making sure that the ingredients are evenly distributed in the e-liquid. The heavier particles fall to the bottom of the bottle when it is not in use, and it could be argued that they are in effect ‘steeping’. Swirling and shaking loosens up the ‘steeped’ particles, and creates a more even and stronger flavor.

The whole article can be found here http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...e-liquid-is-it-necessary-for-the-best-flavor/ I think this may also shed some light on those who enquire about "steeping".

You ain't the only one! It is so smooth how it goes in and flows back out! Mmmmm! Like water!

Dekang Blue Ribbon...no need to shake, its only one ingredient in it...Dekang.

Its not a juice, its drink; kinda like that purple stuff...

I shake my juices because I read on here to do so awhile back. I think it blends the flavors because one time I forgot and it didn't taste as good. I use a heavy VG 25 PG/75 VG so I think it matters but am in the process of getting ready to try a lower nicotine with a 50/50 per a vendor's recommendation. I think my flavors are muted from what I read on here. Well I know they are not as intense but didn't realize it was the VG causing it. I thought I was allergic to a lot of PG but was told by a very well-known honest vendor that I might just need a lower nicotine and then the 50/50 might be ok. I hope so as I really want the flavor like so many of you are getting:)

It really depends on your juice delivery system and the juices themselves. There are of juices at 100%pg that can't hold a candle to some 100%vg juices in terms of th or flavor. It just really depends on whether you are using attys, ce2s, cartos, and not to mention how different watts affects the experience. What did you experience with the juices that made you think you were allergic?

p.s. I definitely think shaking pg/vg blends is a must!

When I first started I bought a cigarette store throwaway, lol ugh and it was awful. I found out they are full of PG from what the vendor told me. Never heard of that at the time but joined this site. I have learned a lot on here. I love this site:) It made my husband and I neck's red like broken out and we felt a little dizzy. We almost quit right away but I read on here that PG is an allergy to some people so we tried 25 PG/ 75 VG and it worked good and no ill effects, so we tried 30 PG/ 75 VG, oh 24 mg nicotine as what was recommended by the brick and mortar store, which is an hour away each way! I decided it would be cheaper to try to shop online and I am so glad I did, much better prices and I found out the store was not very knowledgeable in what they told me to do. I had tried 50/50 with 24 mg nicotine and I had a rash again and a head rush, until I found Vapedudes. They are great! Chris talked to me on the phone for almost an hour! and explained all kinds of things to me. He said to try 50/50 with 11 or 12 mg nicotine. He thinks the reason why my husband and I are having PG reactions is because of the high nicotine. We don't vape all day long like a lot of people do because we get head rushes after a few minutes of vaping and have to take a break. He said the lower nicotine would help with that and he feels like we might be able to use the PG. I am waiting for some juice with those formulas to come in to try it. I have so much juice that is sitting here and I don't know how to cut it to make it less nicotine. I mean like 15 or so bottles that might get wasted! unless I find out what to do. Can you add water to them? I don't think so but I am desperate, lol We have Tornado T with stardust cartomizers. We tried the cigarette look-alike and it is awful and doesn't produce much results and the juice goes in your mouth every time! but love the stardust but would love something better and my husband's backup got washed the other day so it had to be thrown away since I read on here it is not good to try to use it since it is an electronic. I don't know what to get next but it has to wait for now. So we keep charging the 3 batteries we have in rotation, lol but am grateful we at least have that. Do you think the 50/50 would work. I think Vapedudes is great and he sounds very knowledgeable.

Wow, I have no idea. You should open up a thread in the appropriate forum on this. I don't see how the nic would do that to your skin, but I don't know. The pg has been associated with those issues so you may want to try using attys and 100%vg, especially considering you are not a chain vaper. I hope someone can see your post and help out.
