Mom spoils everything. I kinda see myself all kinds of pumped and vapey tonight. I think it just might happen.
Give me your particulars again....not that I'll hit them you understand...just for giggles.

80/20, 24 or 32mg, more french pipe than DK, and of course what ever mumbo jumbo you may typically add like acv and what not.

Time to finally unlurk :)

I first tried vaping about a year ago w/one of the NicStick 30 charge units and promptly got tired of the leaky cartridges and meh flavors. Fast forward to late June. Decided it was time to just switch over entirely or quit entirely (got tired of the smell and feeling crappy all the time. This time around I tried out the NicStick tank. Wasn't TOO bad, but still felt lacking. The batteries were too weak for my usage, so I was carrying around several of the batteries and running a bunch of chargers in the evening. I also found the tanks to be a pain -- they really don't seem to be meant to be filled, even with the empties, they started leaking quite a lot and worse, they'd leak past the atomizer and "straw" back up the cart  Thus the search for a better solution starts and leads me to ECF. Promptly found out there's a much better world of equipment and liquid out there, ordered a couple of ego passthrough batteries (one would have been sufficient in retrospect, but it's comforting to have a backup :) ) along with some fluxomizers, phoenixes, and a vision. At the same time, I discovered NE Vapers and connected to PittBoss, so now I had some good flavors to try out as well. Inspired that it could be done, the next step was getting hold of some base and flavors and tonight was my first DIY batch. So, puttered for a year, then moved to real kit and DIY in 6 weeks ;)

Welcome and congrats!

I must have missed it. What modification did you use?

I un raveled the original wick, and pulls some of the strands out, and trimmed them very short. When I put the cap on I tighten it to just tight and back it off just a lil bit. I am using a 2.8ohm between 5 and 5.5v with no wicking issues, no dry hits. But the downfall is it does leak a bit if on its side because it opened up the sides a bit too much. But if I tighten the cap when I lay it down, it seems to alleviate the leaking issue.

What would your ideal pipe look like.?

I really like the nice wood grain Rhodesian style.. I think I saw one made from zircote? Also like ebony, rose and well, many other woods. The shank isn't that big of a deal, but I do like the bent, shankless style. I guess maybe I am just picky..
