Yes they do, actually.. I just worry about shortening the life of cartos, atties, clearos, RAs, etc. Can't be good for them, but I suppose in moderation, it probably isn't as terrible as it seems.

I am sorry, can someone explain what is it you don't like about pulse width modulation?
Well to put it in short: I guess I just don't know if I like the idea of "surges" going through my coils in whatever I am using. Some of those get up to 6+ volts even on a setting of 3.7 or 4 volts. Even though it's not a constant, I would think that it wouldn't be good for the longevity of the coils. I would also think that it throws of the balance of wattage for maximizing the flavors in your liquids. I like the the fact that what I am vaping stays the same and it's what I set it at..not factored by many variables.
My main concern is the high voltage being pushed toward low resisitance carto. For example the VV gripper I was referring to earlier, pushes a voltage of 6.2 cycling at 100hz, when the device is set at 3.7v. This to me seems like it could be hard on whatever attached resistance device.
The other dislike I have is, what you set is not what you get, 3.7v setting on these devices perform more like 4.2v. Now this descrepancy seem you become less when you start setting the device at higher voltages.
You know, as I think about it, it may seem that I'm bashing the VV Gripper and other PWM PVs..I'm really not. I just don't know that much about the technology, but from what I can grasp, it seems efficient but not necessarily practical. Something like that would still be nice (especially in and around that pricepoint) for an overall experience. Maybe once I make a full transition to gennies and other RAs, something like this would be nice to tear through all of these cartos I have laying around, lol.

Thanks. I can see your reservation with the system. Pwm technology is used to control countless devices. The peaks happen in nanoseconds and simulate a continuous waveform. The atty life, in theory, should not be reduced by much if any. The benefits are less wasted energy and switch loss. Other 5+ volt systems must reduce the power by releasing heat. I have used several of these Pwm units without seeing a loss of performance or life. Time will tell if they will stay in e - Cigs or not. I am looking into adjustable wattage right now for my next project. I think that is awesome.

Got a brand new big bottle of Nic...a few flaves(ap...oh yeah...I'm excited) and 20 new bottles...also have some glass bottles for Nic storage coming, but kinda "giggity-giggity" over the 20 crappy 10ml bottles I have coming.
Maybe next time Keg can get a "frumunda free" bottle.......................
