I have wanted to. I know that ss gets gunked up quick. I am not a big fan of vaping carbon. I know many people have had tons of success with it though.
The kanger with replaceable head is what I'm using right now. I'm too newbish to say much about it except I think it runs a too hot (1.8ohm on a kgo), the mouthpiece will crack, and it's kinda delicate (If I drop it, the top pops off). Tastes good though.
Yeah, I have been doing some reading about it and have ended up with mixed feelings. Still want to try it though. Wouldn't mind turning the Phoenix RA into a Genesis style atty. Want to try the "bonut" mod as well.
Hey, Hawk.. If you are out there.. I got the tracking number a little while ago. I guess the manufacturer got ahead of themselves and were doinking around. So should be 6-12 days now. Hoping I get them before the 18th, as I will be in Omaha that evening and can get those to you guys. Otherwise I would have to make a special trip.. I'm willing to entertain offers on a special trip by quality of food and booze..

Here is what I'm thinking.. Bamboo yarn that is rolled in SS mesh with 6-7 wraps of 32 awg kanthal with a "donut" around the bridge.. 6v of pure bliss! Waiting for another spot to open up in the DID co-op so I can grab one of those and a glass shield, turning it into a RAT..

I'm not too sure about cheesecloth either, can you give me some reasons why it should be on the higher points in my list?

Heads up....a furry little kitty is doing a second coop for phoenix ra's at "another" place.
Set of 5 = $25. Of course it is the wrong weekend for me. Needed to be next weekend(payday).
If anybody wants to jump on that knowing I would take 2 or 3 off your hands let me know.

As tempting as that sounds, I don't know if I would need a handful of these laying around. Plus, if I get the hang of these quickly, I am going to jump on a DID or two..
