You are obviously not watching the Husker offense play football..unless you are holding the defense hostage at the zoo right now.......which is rude, because we could use them right now!

Ummm yeah, pelini is a defensive master......does anyone remember his best defense was full of Callahan recruits, just saying. Martinez and the offense looked like crap, but unfortunately they already realize they have to score every possession to win. Gonna be a long season for both nebraska and iowa fans.

as for the CyHawk Game......i cant say Iowa State was the winner, but everyone who watched that yawner of a game was certainly a loser, a loss of 3 hours they would like to get back.

Ok, none of you will appreciate or possibly even understand this post. I HATE football. It's like a whole season (actually 2) of testosterone fueled brutality that comes in a distant second to dodgeball (which I WOULD watch and root for!). The only male equivalent I can come up with to compare it so a man can understand is imagine, going every week for 45 minutes, and I'm being gentle here, holding your significant other's purse and exclaiming enthusiastically over everything they are shopping for. Good news is there's a lot of books I wanna read and have actually managed to come up with a vapeable juice but have them labelled as numbers and letters as I can't even give you a clue what they taste like.

When you are enjoying your macho TV, remember this next time you gripe about your SO watching the Bachelor or Dancing with the stars. Which I will also read thru, wearing earbuds. Rant over, back to your regularly scheduled church service.

Ok...I can see where you're coming from..BUT, college football is for 12-15 weeks a year...the other 35-40 weeks a year we guys do have to hold purses while she looks at that same pair of shoes for the tenth time. We do have to watch dancing, dating, house hunting etc....

Actually I'm pretty lucky...my wife will even watch a little football but I know she's tired of it by mid October.
Just a suggestion, but while us guys are watching football, maybe the gals could...oh I don't know....mow the yard, paint the house(inside and out), wash the vehicles and change the oil, replace that broken section of sidewalk, tear apart the planting area and dig out the roots from the tree that blew over so a new one can be planted, remove the carpet in the basement and lay tile (damn leak caused damage...never put carpet below grade)..

Lol....just a guys perspective....

Glad you keep popping in here.....what letters and numbers are you assigning to your mixes and what are your mixes comprised of?
I basically mix "tobaccos"...not big on sweet vapes.

My wife loves football! She hates shopping, go figure. It's not she is not feminine (she more feminine than most women I would say) I guess I just got lucky . The huskers played alright last night, but not as well as I had expected. The thing that worried was that our defense couldn't stop a dam thing. UCLA looked much better than an unranked team should. Ultimately the defense, missing tackles and not being able to get a sack to save their lives was the downfall of the Huskers last night. As for our offense, I would say Martinez did an okay job last night, but we are NEBRASKA!
We need the option. We ran the ball for about 6 plays and we gained like 50 yards in the process. So Taylor learned to throw the ball a little better, that's awesome but let the boy do what he does best. Lord if we just had burkhead back.

I also have orders to make homemade tenderloin sandwhiches for supper tonight(just like culvers..or wherever...when we lived in Georgia you couldn't get one and I got very good at replicating them....now that we're back here we just can't go to culvers...I have to make them and its a ton of work)...

I know I did a few Husker fans...but in my defense my phone was blowing up with all kinds of "ha ha's" all afternoon...
Ha-ha's from here..Vegas..Oklahoma city..Atlanta...kinda got me fired up.
Don't recall if it was this forum or not..but 1 particular Husker fan rode me VERY hard...and that was prior to the Nebraska game...
So if I got all shiatty....blame Vlad..he irritated the living crap out of me....lol..he paid for it last night...

My thoughts exactly hawkeye. On the positive side, I got a orange VV REO grand on the way! I got my first choice easily. There are actually a few VV grands left on the reo site. Which is crazy, unheard of. They will probably be gone by tomorrow or at least I hope, I am sure that Rob could use the cash to make his investment of making 1000 of them make sense
