Morning all
Working until 8 tonight when the debate begins. If you watch and the people in the audience are idiots, you can blame my work as we were the ones that helped select the audience

Also, decided to go ahead and order that telescope this morning. Thanks again, Keg, for the info and confirming what I had read!

Still no "helping hands"?

Not a problem, hope your happy with it otherwise don't kill the messenger. Lol
Honestly if your ever in need of a cheap vv, don't be scared of the mad vapes VV box, mine is still performing like a champ, I picked up some 3.2ohm single coil tank cartos and on freshly charged batts it will push 6.3v for nearly 4 hours. Next time I can afford it I'm gonna pick up some IMR'S for it and see if it will push 7
That is before the voltage falls off, vaped 2 days on a charge and it was still pushing 5.5v

I have the "helping hands" just haven't gotten around to ordering supplies and getting any experience making coils.
I'll stop procrastinating one of these days. Maybe tomorrow.![]()
Oh, Im not..think it would be a great liitle device to push some heat!

I'm hoping to be able to order the kit someday and build a more stylish wood box for it

Your generosity, as always, is very much appreciated, sir, but I think I'll be set for a while between the extras that came with the Phoenix and the ones I ordered for the VapingZone tank. Meanwhile I plan to read up a little more on it and figure out which gauge wire will most efficiently get me around 3 ohms and just order some of that and some silica in whatever thickness the VapingZone wicks are.
Then I plan to rig up some sort of jig to wrap the perfect coil every time. I'm thinking along the lines of using a screw to wrap the wire around to ensure consistent wraps and spacing. If I can solder a little loop on to the end of the screw for pulling the wick through, I may be in good shape and be able to crank 'em out pretty quick and easy.
I'm sure I'll probably spend more time trying to figure out the jig than I would on trial and error without it, but I'm one of those "build a better mouse trap" types that just can't leave well enough alone.
Well, if you were to do that, you might as well invest in a little higher quality "kit" or piece together some parts and go from there. There are many places to grab stuff and it should end up being not much more, as far as price. I have a few DIY mod specs that I plan on ordering the stuff for, hopefully sometime soon, and the most expensive of them is the Denali (knock off). That one still only totaled around $30 for all of the parts, even ordering from different sites.
I'm not smart electronically so I would have no clue what I am looking at or the difference between this and that. A kit is the way to go for me
