Gotta keep the thread alive! So I ended up adding 2 drops of each, ACV and MTS, last night. Came back to it earlier and tasted it a bit to see what I could tell. Unless it's my mind, it seems to nullify the sweetness of the VG and allows the tobacco flavour to stand out more. I also think that the MTS could be useful, more so, on a higher PG liquid..or I just need one drop in higher VG.

I think Sam's pricing for the juice is right in line with what V4L sells it for. The big advantage is he's local, very accessible, and a helluva guy. I'm really hoping to see him do very well with his new business.
You can use dual coils on the Provari, just need to dial in the voltage appropriately. I'm actually hoping to get away from cartos altogether in the very near future. Been guinea pigging a few things here and there from Plumes and have a few other things hopefully hitting the mailbox today or tomorrow. Polyfil is getting annoying to me the last couple weeks.
The tanks I've been using so far are the regular old SmokTek DCT style. I haven't had any kind of problems with them so far. I've seen some of those high dollar tanks and just can't get myself to buy something like that. All the action happens in the $2 consumable piece. $40+ for something that just looks a little fancier is hard to justify to myself. And considering how many I've got in rotation at any given time, I'd probably have to take out a loan to get myself all set up. Give me rugged and functional and I don't care if it looks like something that came of the south end of a northbound dog.

I am considering a J-tank unless I can find some nice colored gaskets to put on a homemade tank, but those sandblasted Phiniac tanks are bad .....might have to splurge on one of those.

The Phiniacs do look cool, I just can't myself to pull the trigger on something like that. I do like the fact that they're Pyrex. I've been kinda wondering how healthy it is having all these juices sitting around in plastic bottles and tanks. Something's gotta leech into the juice somewhere along the line.
And as many times as my kids have knocked those Pyrex pan thingies off the counter, I know that's pretty durable.
Maybe some day I'll settle on one juice and getting something like that won't seem so expensive. One juice....yeah right!

Haha yeah, I dunno if I could ever get down to one juice myself, either. Well the plastic thing doesn't really bother me..the regulations of BPA and the fact that nobody should leave their liquids in direct heat anyway pretty much takes care of contaminants. I could see, possibly, over a couple of years of storage..but that still seems off enough.
Phiniacs...pyrex? ...thought they were glass...could be(im sure I am) wrong but who knows....I'm so outta it its not even funny....my pancreas broke this weekend. X-treme high blood sugar =stupidity....for the normal observer you wouldn't notice a difference(because I'm kinda a dumb#ss all the time) but the pros(wife..daughter) picked up on it quick and informed me that I have been a douche-bag more than normal...blah blah...almost got myself straight up....apologize for any inane ramblings.
Well I almost feel bad for saying that they are in deed pyrex tanks..They also have some really nice "wood grain" tanks that would look great on this hand carved mod I have been eying..

Ok I guess they do have the hand blown glass..but think that those are add-on designs to to the tanks. Might even still be pyrex (I don't know if you could blow pyrex like glass..)

My carto issues are only going from bad to worse, blowing thru about a carto every 2 days, and it doesn't seem to matter what juice. Guess its time for me to start saving for something new.

2 separate boxes of cartos, I wish i had a better webcam, I would shoot a vid of the de-construction of one of these, there is just not a long enough wick for these to work properly I believe. I like the batteries, just may order boge 808's and see if I have better luck.
Oh, yeah..the damn wick problem. I still haven't heard anybody with this issue yet, but you may have gotten a bad batch. Don't have anything in an 808, else I'd shoot ya some..only packing 510s here.
Ya, other investment I will be making is a 808 battery to 510 adaptor.
And honestly can't wait to see what Cisco at Avid Vapor comes up with for his atty tank invention. Have read some really things about his work with atomizers, and sounds like his atty tank will be like nothing we have seen before.

I'm hoping so..tried the Cisco 306 and love it. Will be interesting to see where this one goes!
