On the head itself, just above the little ledge above the threads, it should be etched on there. It's pretty hard to see but it's there. My advice though, bust out the multimeter. Most of the 2.4 ohm heads I've used so far have been off quite a bit, in fact I think I've only tried one that actually metered at 2.4, most are 2.8 - 3.2. My APV has a function to measure that so it's not a big deal, I can adjust accordingly.

It would be interesting to test the resistance of the head alone, and the head assembled with the tank. Be curious to see if the actually head tests at the listed ohms, and it the actual assembled device raising the resistance.
The heads themselves are 510 threaded so I test them pre-assembly (both new and after cleaning) and post-assembly. Haven't seen a difference yet.
The most variance I see between what they're labelled and how they meter is on the 2.4 ohm heads. The 2.8 ohm heads are usually right at 2.8. I've had one as high as 3.1. The 1.8 ohm heads I haven't used at all yet.

So I got the AP today..going to add a couple of drops to a 15ml bottle of 555 that I made about 2 weeks ago and see if I notice any initial change in taste. Also got some of that Black Fire and it smells campfirey..niiiice!
I most likely will be missing the meet on Saturday too, unless its an impromtu appearance. I want to see what kind of vaping community the metro area is, and how much better we can make it.
Because if the vaping community surrounding us is anything like us......were in deep .....

I'll be very interested in hearing how that ap works in your 555. The black fire really does smell like you're sitting downwind at a campfire. Not the best as a standalone but a good mixer. Where did you pick up the ap?
Yeah, I mixed up a bottle of that so it could steep and have been thinking about what would mix well in that. Need to give it a taste first, I suppose.
I grabbed the AP from ECX..Grabbed a couple more flavors, some T&S and some bottles..almost forgot they had it there. Smelled the 555 this morning and it really does smell something different compared to the 555 flavor only and the 555 with MTS and ACV. Going to give it a taste in a little bit.

My beloveded has a perpetual eyeroll when anything "vaping" arises. But on the rare occasion that she can smell that analog....whoa...she freaks and starts gibbering about me quitting...lol...you young guys in the dawn of marriage are clueless...wait for it..It's coming............(disclaimer....I dog on my wife, but she's a pretty good egg...putting up with my ... for 25 years should put her in line for something...some kind of award or some kind of restraint...at the very least high powered pharmacy candy).

Well I have to say that adding the AP to the 555 gave it more personality, more depth and more pizzazz. Added some T&S to that blackberry/tobacco mix that I thought was a bit too "candyish" and so far it's smoothed out it's edges. May even try a little MA in there and/or some BW depending on how it tastes come tomorrow.
So if you were able to go to the Vape Meet on Saturday, your lovely wife wouldn't come? Guess we are lucky (depends on how you look at it) that our ladies tolerate and/or partake in the vaping. Mine tolerates me and my obsessiveness, but does vape herself..just keeps it simple.
