I just signed up and figured I share some "education" I received yesterday, hope this is the write place..?

I had a Ego C 650 battery that died form another piece of education I picked up, always check the ohms before trying to fire. Yeah.. oops. So I was thinking I just tripped a protection circuit or blew a fuse, the battery must still be good! Figured there was some kind of standard batt in there that I could use for a mod. Well.. there's not. Just a wrapped up cell in some foil which I cut open and made a hell of a mess with. At least I had the smarts to put some gloves on, could have been much worse. Still got a nice tube to play with! :)

So, you got confused and tried to check the ohms on the battery?? Where is this "piece of education" thread located?

No no, I didn't check the resistance on clearomizer I had replaced a coil/wick in and screwed it on the battery. After it fried the batt I checked it and it had a short, reading in at .2 ohms actual resistance. Sorry, the "education" I was referring to was my own screw ups.
