A friend sent me some Sharkhide Metal Polish to try and it's incredible; much better than Cape Cod. From black tarnish to shines like new in a few minutes.

It is the first polish I've used that will get the dark surface burn out....

Yep. Looks gorgeous. They show 4 products on their site: metal protectant, aluminum cleaner, aluminum polish, and black streak remover.

Which one do you have?

I've got the light blue one...lol After reading the product descriptions, I'm pretty sure it's the polish.

All polishes are abrasives; the key is getting one that removes the least amount of metal to produce the best possible finish. This one does the trick. What I hate seeing is a great GGTS that's been butchered by someone who used the wrong products and techniques. It's such a waste and there's no "unpolish".

It looks really nice, I made the mistake of trying the newly reformulated "Brasso", which has been terrible on my #378 alum/brass. I have a tube of Autosol on the way which cost me $8.99 shipped. I wish it came in a smaller container, the smallest container is $38.99 and the cheapest shipping option was like $16 for me. For half that I could maybe justify it over the Autosol, but I'll give it a shot first.

Who wants to split one?:)

I'm not sure what size they sell for that price, but it only takes a LITTLE bit to do the job. I dabbed a little on a cotton cloth and that's all it took to do the entire GGTS. I put the cloth in a zip loc and there's enough to do another one w/o adding any polish.

If it's a decent size container you could split it 3 or 4 ways and everyone will have plenty.
