Are you drinking enough water while you vape? You have to stay well hydrated - the PG especially will dry you out quickly. If you drink lots and still have pain when you vape, it could be that you are reacting to something in the juice; possibly the PG (some people are allergic/sensitive to it). Usually, the VG will not be harsh on your throat, and your 6mg of nicotine in the juice shouldn't make the juice too harsh (all of us are different, so just my opinion on the nic).

One other thing to check is if you are using a 3 piece e-cig (battery + atomizer + cartridge), you may be inhaling the primer that manufacturers put on the atomizers. You could try cleaning the atomizer and/or blowing gently through the atomizer from the threaded end to get any primer out of there.

Good luck - I hope you figure out what's being so harsh on your throat. If you are still having problems, just ask!

not to be offensive to the supplier, but i get this feeling on sgjuices mix.. =[ the flavouring etc are perfect, but i just get this sharp feeling which I don't get with DK-Vanilla 16mg, 60-40 pgvg mix... =[

So i don't think its the nic content, but maybe the vg %? hmmm..

btw, VOCR, yup, i'm using a manual ECHO, so i guess its heating element with polyfill?

Hi Rakki, sorry to hear that. Sharp feeling? you meant TH? my mix is mixed using syringes , down to 0.1 or 0.01ml accurate (depending on how small the syringes i use) maybe you can try switching to PG400 , 80/20 or 70/30 .

Another thought is ,DK juices are bulk mixed, and let to sit and steep (till it sells), for mine it's freshly mixed, it might get better if you let it steep for a few days more before trying again?

I am currently using a slightly more expensive VG I bought, maybe its the cause.. I will look into this and switch back to the previous VG if necessary.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yup, that is polyfill. Those Echos, when I use higher voltage and vape them at night, I wake up the next day with a sore throat sometimes. The ones that give me that sharp feeling the most are the dual coil and triple coil cartos.
