I dropped mine a few weeks ago and got a crack in the glass. Still kept using it since it didn't leak. A few days ago it was in my shirt pocket. I bent over and it fell out on the tile floor. Bent the 510 portion of the base. So would be nice if parts were available.

Sun-Vapors has the replacement base for $4.99, it's under "Replacement Parts". :vapor:

edit: I know I saw just the glass top somewhere too....but can't remember where....

edit #2: UGH, out of stock on that base, I didn't click through to check, saw another post that they were out of stock, sorry...:(

Hmmm, I'm still waiting on mine... If they're so fragile I'll stick to the Vapeonly. Heads are more expensive but it's far sturdier... I've had it for a month or so and so far it's working great...

And for annoying flavors the eVod vapes great and it's metal!

The Protank is sturdier than the Vape Only BCC. I've dropped both onto concrete. The BCC broke in half, the Protank came away unscathed.

I hoped you kept the base that will come on handy. I want to get an extra just for dry burning and quick switching favors. But I'm not willing to break one of my protanks for that ill order a spare base when they are available.

Yes, of course :) I actually have some kanthal and am going to pick up some butcher string so I can try to rebuild the head myself. Why? Because I can. LOL!

I'm a bit of a clutz. Rinsed out my ProTank, turned around and dropped it solidly on the ceramic tile. Shattered. Dang it.

I have 2 others, but man, that blows! Had a little funeral for it as I tossed it into the trash compactor :(

Just saw this. Sorry for your loss but I've got an idea for you. Go to the hardware store and find the thickest and tightest fitting o rings that will fit on the diameter of the tank. Put one at the top of the glass, where it meets the mouthpiece, and one at the bottom, where the glass meets the base. This should work in absorbing some of the impact and save your glass. I only just thought of this after reading all the posts and looking at my tank while trying to think of ways to stop the glass breakage. I'm going to go to the hardware store tomorrow or Wednesday to pick up some o rings. Hope this helps.

Mt3 using a protank base

I like the looks of this better than the old base! By the way, MT3 replacement atty's made in the last few months now have knurling that fits inside the Vamo base.

Sorry you broke your Protank, I was thinking about tape and 0-rings and such but I think I will just take my chances and let her natural beauty shine on...
