Shelf life of liquid PG and VG?

Can someone tell me if PG and VG need to be kept refrigerated, or if they should NOT be refrigerated, in order to have the longest shelf life. I have a lockable "medicine" safe that would be a dark place but was considering getting some liquid in quantities for storing. TIA.

Propylene glycol:

Store at controlled room temperature between 15-30 C (59-86F). Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

There are no storage instructions on my VG because I have not bought it in bulk, but the instructions are very likely to be similar.

Vegetable Glycerine

Storage and Shelf Life: Store at 65 to 75°F in a dry and odor-free environment for a shelf life of 14 to 24 months.
