Shelf life?

I've only been DIYing a few months. So far, with reasonable care, I don't think any of my mixes have gotten old and nasty. Just wondering if anyone else has had juices that went past their prime? Do they lose flavor, change, or what? How long are they good? Do some last longer than others?

I figured I'd better ask before I have 18 gallons of juice mixed up and find I will need to vape it all before it goes bad!

Around my house no juice has that problem... I just "vape it away" to prevent spoilage. ;-)

I believe some juice can go past it's prime and change/lose flavor. But how long that is is likely dependent on each juice.

I had some Mother's Milk by SB that was only maybe a couple of months old that totally lost it's strawberry flavoring towards the end of the bottle. Could it have been that I failed to shake it adequately? Possibly. But all I could taste was a questionnable custard at the end, so it ended up in the trash.

None of my DIY mixes, except tobacco, have lasted long enough to know how they change (or even steep very long LOL).
