Was that baby named Sara? Does that song Sara have anything to do with that ?
I am pretty sure it was a male child. I am also pretty sure she helped support this child through his life even after ending the union with Robins husband. I have read several books, one by her but my mind is now 60 and I forget. (Google never forgets and you can ask there)
As a child of the 70's in So CAL she was an idol. I have been to several of her concerts and my daughter took me to one for Mothers Day. My daughter and I both cried through many songs as my daughter calls it "the music of my childhood"

Morning peeps and pets

Wanted to share this.

Yesterday I was watching The Irishman on my computer (great movie). Zelda was sprawled out on my desk in font of me, getting all kinds of belly rubs and head scratches. She fell into a deep sleep and then started dreaming, twitching, kicking and chirping. Was cute but I let her be. After about 10 minutes of this, she abruptly woken up, let out a frightening screech and stood there, dazed and all wobbly, like she was drunk. She acknowledged my presence, let out a little chirp, climbed onto my shoulder and buried her head into my neck and just started to purr. She would not move from this for a good 20 min. Was so adorable, like a child being comforted by a parent after a bad nightmare.

I finally said, “Want your dinner” – she jumped off and ran into the kitchen
If for only a moment into their minds eh?
I used to want to strap a small camera to Joe as he wandered the woods behind my old home. Joe has always been a hoot. My neighbor planted tomato plants one year and one by one Joe smashed them all sleeping in them. I bought this guy tomatoes all year that year.
Another time, as Julie (female cat) would hunt and bring things to the porch for me (dead moles, lizards) and Joe would see this he started to bring things home too. A small red pepper, (from Tomato guys yard) an acorn... Of course I had to praise the poor fellow for his "catches" even though he must have been ignorant of the fact that hunting meant catching something live.

Did it come on suddenly? His chest sounds clear, but I can hear “congestion” in his throat. It’s worse at night, almost like a kiddo with the croup. He seems happy though, sleeping the day away and chowing down on dinner.

Yes. He had a little coughing from time to time, but one day he just didn’t stop. I could tell he was distressed. The vet took an x ray and it was pretty plain to see the shadow around his heart, reducing his trachea by about 1/3.

He didn’t show any other symptoms, either. I think that was July or August ‘18 and he hardly coughs at all

Also, sorry it took so long to reply. I wish I’d get notifications for this thread.

He had full xrays at thanksgiving, and the coughing seems to have resolved. He’s perking along, as well as he can at his age.

Me and sassy make a good team looking after these babies. They have been bottle feeding lots and then I put them in with her to nurse one at a time before putting them back in their crib. They look very strong and love to crawl up my chest while feeding .

Here is how they look after feeding .

I love Daphne. She has the gentlest face.
she is one bundle of love. Not a mean bone in her body. Two other dogs challenge her, my daughters and my neighbors, both have lunged at her, tried to fight with her. She just backs away, cringes, holds onto me. Then she forgives in an instant.

That’s how Rudy is. Any dog can come in the house and he’ll share his bed, his food, toys, even his mommy.

    Need a pic of that.

    You'll get one

Her favourite trick is to sit under my recliner footrest - and poke at my foot. This of course makes my foot fly up in the air. So she then pokes the other one, and up that one goes. We then play chicken, on how long I can keep my feet elevated. It's called Luna ab exercise no.1 ;)

With my Gracie it's my big toe, she's been trying to get the whole thing in her mouth since she was tiny. Well tinier...

I wish mine was a lap kitty. She’s zonked out in her doghouse (yeah, the kitty version was too small )

That Gracie trying to use my toe as a chew toy. George is the lap hog. Saturday night was amusing, they were all wanting lap space under the covers whilst we waited for the new heater to warm up the room. Takes 3 of mine plus 1 temporarily grumpy Em to cover as much territory as your cat dog I suspect.

If you lose heat again, I’ll loan you Monk. He visualizes himself as a lapdog . At 115 pounds, he can cover your lap and legs (sorry, they’ll be numb, but you’ll be warm!) and snuggle Em at the kitties all at once. He would think it was a treat. Catdog is not interested in being his friend, much to his disappointment. Poor dear isn’t enjoying being an only dog, but his back is too bad for him to play with another pup now.
