i calculate that one kit is equivalant to\one wool blanket.

i lucked out with my kits.
i was trying to figure out a way
to train them to sleep on my legs in winter.

i never did figure that out but they decided to do that by themselves,
with no coaching.
drifter is only 6+ lbs n cuddles is 15 or so.
i'm toasty warm even tho i keep the room cold.

I’ve been crying my eyes out . I came home from work and seen the little white bunny didn’t seem itself. I held him in my lap with a heating pad and fed him a bit and tried to get him to eat from sassy. But after a few hours the little guy died. I tried so hard to keep him going too.

I fed him first thing but my mom left the house all day thinking my grandma had a stroke slurring her words on the phone but she was just really high. I don’t know if it would have made a difference but I wish I was knew she was out so I could’ve come feed him. Just got back from a meeting and eating something I haven’t eaten dinner. I was trying to save the baby.

Down to one now :(

Please nobody tell me it’s not my fault or That’s it’s my fault I don’t want to hear it. Just keep the other one in your prayers.

My mother told me it was my fault for having it in the crib thing. She’s just acting really nasty to me lately because of all the stress of the flood and everything. I wouldn’t dare blame her for not being home especially because she thought my grandmother was sick. But she just got nasty to me right away and got me balling my eyes out. I just had to leave after mustering up the strength to clean the mommy and daddy’s kennels out .

I’m just tired .

I got some vape mail at least

Most of the time, with nature, those that do not make it were destined to not make it from the get go. Sassy probably knows/knew this. So sorry for this loss and I know it is hard. I have lost kittens and swore I would never do foster again but it is nature and we do not have as much control as we think we do. You did NOTHING wrong and did everything you could.

Found lots of little golden bunnies this morning. That cheered me up

Stevie’s baby Goldie and then her sister I named Sis. Then another new friend with some grey mixed in his face.

So sorry, @Ricky Vapes. And, as others have said, it was not your fault. We don't have half as much power as we think we do in these matters.

When are you going to get Bugs neutered? I'd be happy to send along another contribution. In the meantime, I hope you're keeping him away from the ladies. I have no idea how quickly female rabbits can conceive after giving birth, but better safe than sorry. And there's Stevie to consider as well, although she might already be pregnant, right?

Thanks a lot it’s got me pretty sad I don’t know if I can go though this again. I haven’t cried like that since my girlfriend passed. I just tried saving him for so long then was heartbroken to hear his last breath.

Stevie hasn’t had a chance to get pregnant. She should be fine. Her and fluffy have been separated because I’m told it can take 4 weeks for any viable sperm to go away even after a neuter. As soon as I let fluffy out he still wants to hump Stevie lol so gonna give it Mabye another week.

. Bugs only goes with sassy in their own pen while I clean their kennels or let them stretch and I’ve been watching them.

I do need to get bugs fixed hopefully then he won’t fight with fluffy as well. Can’t even Keep the boys together.

Just gotta look after these guys I’m thankful to have them.

Thanks for the kind words and if you could help that would be much appreciated I am going through a lot with the house flood and just had Toby’s expensive hair cut. Luckily you guys helped me out with that a bit as well as fluffy getting neutered with that money raised. You’ve already done so much though so don’t set your self short or anything.

I’m hoping the people upstairs will help us replace some items we lost in the flood at least since it was their fault. Our renters insurance deductible is 2 grand so that threw my mom for another loop. It’s insane that we would have to pay that considering it’s not even our fault or even an act of Mother Nature.

2 grand deductible?? That’s a bit steep. How much damage was caused by the flood? If your upstairs neighbour has insurance, which should be specified within the lease, then they will have liability coverage.

I would speak with a lawyer – you should be able to easily find one that offers free consultation. It will be to your benefit to know where you stand.

Toby has a cone on his head right now because his foot has a sore on it he keeps licking. He keeps bumping into things and hates it so much . He has a couple lumps on his body which have me super worried as well . I don’t want anything to happen to my boy he’s my absolute best friend. He’s so cute with his fur cut off and feeling good especially . He just wants to snuggle all the time and if their isn’t room for him to hop up with me on the couch he’ll bark till I move stuff around . The flood has my place looking like a cluttered war zone.

They don’t have insurance. I’m hoping Mabye my landlord will work something out with the rent or something. It’s all out small kitchen appliances toaster microwave coffee keurig maker etc. Our antique china cabinet and our dining room table and chairs. The landlord is going to put new flooring down so that’s good. Says he only has to paint the roof but it’s crCking and has had water sitting up there on the ceiling drywall almost a week now.

But I don’t know it’s not up to the landlord either to pay for their mistakes he distinctly told them no washing machines after the first flood 6 months ago on the other side.

He said to make a list and my mom was scared to because the woman upstairs was talking suicide but I said screw that she’s just making us feel sorry for her. Their place is absolutely fine it just went straight down to our place landing on our ceiling drywall and raining out the light fixtures and cracks in the drywall.

WOW. Sorry, wish I could offer additional advice. Again, I would consult with a lawyer. Lack of insurance coverage and breaking the rules of the lease maybe a tricky situation.

British Columbia will have a tenancy act – call your provincial government.

I have not gone over this site in detail but perhaps you should take some time to look over. Know your rights!

Tips for Landlords and Renters
thanks yea it’s a real biitch alright. Now my mom has actually gone off the deep end.

I mean the stuff isn’t really worth2 grand. So basically there’s no sense paying the insurance money monthly

I agree that a microwave and Keurig is not worth the $2k, and maybe not even worth stressing over. The china cabinet may have sentimental values.

But you are living in disarray due to a flood. You have an unstable neighbour who has broken the rules of her lease and caused damage. You also have water damage, which if not properly inspected and repaired, could lead to mold. A fresh coat of paint does not eliminate mold. You have rights to protect yourself. The tenancy act may hold the landlord responsible for certain actions.

I would hand over that list, be precise and look out for yourselves and ignore any histrionics from that lady. Someone needs to pay for your stuff
