He’s just eating his baby food in his litter bin haha rabbits sure love litter bins they just find it so cozy. I just keep adding fresh hay on the top daily and their pee goes down to the wood chips below so it’s not like they are laying In it.Yay!! Grumpy looks happy

That is an excellent idea. I actually put wood chips with straw on top underneath my chickens roost poles. It makes it a lot easier to clean, and helps keep everything directly off of the floor. It works wonderfully for absorbing.
Yes he was so skinny when I met him in the summertime last year. Poor guy soaking wet running from animals being pushed around by rabbits for being seemingly weaker. He was so happy when I made him just a little plywood hutch with a big bowl that had his name on it. He’d sit by the gate waiting for me to come out in the rain sleet or snow then Would run to me when he seen me.
I’m getting him quite comfortable with me until he feels safe enough to be held then I’m going to sponge bath him along his underside and his hand/ feet. He baths as much as he can but still can’t do those areas because of his mouth.
Yes so sweet how something so small like a plywood box painted and a big metal bowl of kibble made him so happy. Although there was a rabbit that kept kicking him out of his own house and chasing him around . I would have to sit with him and guard grumpy on all my breaks so he wouldn’t mess with grumpy or take his food . I wanted to bring him home but already had so many who wouldn’t. Take kindly to a newcomer in their house and didn’t think it was right to keep him by himself. But he enjoys the easy life and my company more than other rabbits.That is a sweet story

when something experiences that much difficulty with others they come to a point where they prefer to be by themselves....over being bullied and picked on. Until they find a friend they can trust...as he has found in you You never know, you may come across a really nice and docile bunny that will make a great friend for him one day
Mabye but I can’t chance it if he was in close quarters with a bunny that decided to fight he could get hurt really bad and I can’t have that. He’s my babyI am sure he enjoys the easy life

I got one that’s 3ml instead of the 1ml I was using. He likes that one too perfect size for him. Just fed him about 15 syringe fulls after work his ears were perked up waiting for me to feed him again after work
