Shipping Cheaper than Gas?

So I've noticed that all but one of my local vape shops is like 45 minutes away, in neighboring cities. I've started just ordering from their websites because the shipping is cheaper than a gallon of gas. (LOL) It gets to me within a day or two and I don't end up at the gas station. Genius or just cheap?

I'll go in for juices I haven't tried but for things like wire, wick, and tanks, I just save myself the heartache. Talking myself out of ordering a vision spinner right now! (LOL)

IMO, genius . I didn't have to do the calc. The pickup from my favorite vape supplier is about 4 miles from me on the weekends in a flea market. As long as I get the order in by start of the day Friday it's there. I'm spoiled!

The only thing in my county is a mini ecig. No juice or anything. So I have to buy online. But on the plus side, gas is going down for once. Last I seen was $3.40. Till today, it was $2.80. I hope it keeps going down. Anyone know why its going down?

I don't know either, Striker, but 2.80 sounds pretty good here. We're running around $3.27 here. Drive 160 miles to the Bernalillo - Albuquerque and expect it to be 20 to 40 cents lower.

All kinds of factors in the gas price market. I once asked the guy at costco how they set the price and he answered... I look down the street at the other guys and then set it the same or one cent lower. There maybe some truth to that as they are all competitive in a given area around here.

it takes me about 35 minutes to get to my local B&M, plus with my work hours, sometimes I just cant get there. So I have been ordering juice from MBV, good stuff and it keeps me from over spending in the store. They always have nice stuff that I want! Then again, I always spend money online... guess its a loose - loose situation lol.

I have to order online also. Nearest cape shop is 1.5hrs south. I can use first class shipping for $3 and get it the next morning. Seems no brainer to me. I do stop in if I am in the area though.

Like Ryedan there's a weekend stall 20 mins away and it's nice to wander over, pickup some stuff and shoot the breeze. Shipping is just too cost prohibitive up here. Also a stall on the way to the cottage...nice way to start the weekend

I am lucky enough to have the instant gratification of B&Ms within less than 10 miles of my house. Added bonus is I drop in while running other errands.

Who am I kidding, I create errands to run that put me in the area of the vape stores.

I do lots of shopping online, mostly with Amazon and LLBean. I've heard so many horror stories about e-cig credit problems, I'm a little hesitatant.

My local B&M is only about 20 minutes away, but I'd probably still save money if I just had stuff shipped. That's not why I go there, though. I go to buy stuff of course, but I also go to hang out with other vapors and see the new stuff in person.
