Shipping delay info

I will be using a new post office starting tomorow, there seems to be a shipping delay this week and its not acceptable and has happened a few times and isnt acceptable, I will inform everyone if this new post office is better so we can have them ship these with no delays or at least when i scan them in at the office.

I track all my orders on my phone using an app called Parcels. You can see a map of the route it takes if you like. It works for the big three here in the states or a bunch of others world wide. I have had similar problems with USPS on shipping out my products. I now drop mine off at the next closest location and it usually beats their ETA estimate on envelopes. My local was usually a day slower. What a difference 6 miles makes.

Looks like my order sat at your local post office for two days. Not sure where it is at right now, system has not updated yet for today. They have already exceeded their 1-3 day time frame. And the Postmaster General wonders why they are losing money.

Remember, USPS shipping is far less expensive for several reasons:

1. Delivery is a range, not date and time specific
2. Tracking is updated periodically, not up to the minute (tech varies greatly among USPS locations)

That's what you pay for with FedEx, UPS and DHL. I wish USPS was the same as the commercial shippers for much less money, but that's not the reality of it. Don't mean to be a downer, I just have to remind myself of it when I feverishly watch my USPS tracking details too.

edit: Think ecig supplies are painful waiting for, try waiting for 10 video cards to make it on the boat from Taiwan.

this is my biggest problem with usps, for first class and even priority mail, you get a shipping notification that its been scanned in, then its a crapshoot whether it ships that day or the next day. which really makes a difference if you planning to get it by the weekend. don't even get me started about the usps lying about trying to deliver on saturdays to my house, happened 3 times already when they supposedly left a notice.

but anyway, I figured it was just that the vendors weren't shipping them that day even though they said they did, apparently thats not the case.

well its normal for you to make a order , get a tracking number becuase we send it through (other vendors do the same) so you know we got your order and will prep it, we try to do same day but sometimes youll get a tracking number and it will ship the next day( a 24 hour window), this happens time to time when we are extremely busy, on rare occasion some are held an extra day to some fubar, either mine, or if post office closed an hour ealrier and i missed it etc.. but thats rare.

the true issue is when we do everything on our end and it just sits there, and skinnee is correct, there is no promise of when its going to get processed nor any promise info so sometimes things just look like they are in limbo but in the end while it takes long sometimes which isnt due to anyting we did, it still gets to the destination and very very rarely do we get lost packages, and i cant say that for ups and dhl even though ups ,dhl and fedex rock ive had each of them do something unbelievably stupid
