shipping issue,whats the deal???

I made an order tuesday from a vendor and I paid extra for priority shipping,hoping I would get it a bit faster because my Provari crapped out on me and I needed to order a backup PV....I noticed my package was out for delivery in the same state it was ordered FROM...I live in the south so I contacted them to ask why it was showing it was out for delivery hundreds of miles away.They said this had happened before one other time and it was error on the post office scanner system but they were sure my order was on its way.I rechecked it last night and now it says "delivery status not updated",I am starting to feel a bit frustrated.Does anyone on here understand why this says "out for delivery" in the wrong state and then "delivery status not updated"? Seems to me something is obviously wrong here.So much for upgrading and paying for the "priority" shipping.Thanks for any input,just a bit upset that I felt the need to go back to analogs after vaping for 3 months

Yeah thats screwy imho. Anytime it says out for delivery its my home town in that box and i do get it.
But noticed yours went back to its original origin for some reason .

Thanks Dieseler...I didnt think it seemed right.I dont want to contact the vendor again today because I dont want to seem like a pain in the a** but if its not here by tomorrow I am going to start flippin out, because they processed the payment on the 30th of Nov....My provari was awesome while it worked and it was bought for me as a gift and I never dreamed of needing a backup but now I am kicking myself for not having one on hand.



BTW,I have really enjoyed this forum for the last few months.There is so much good information on here for folks that want to learn about vaping.I send anyone that seems interested in getting off analogs here to check it out for themselves.

Gosh, that's awful. They may have accidentally addressed it to themselves? Sometimes it's USPS and their system goes haywire. You should be refunded the extra ship charge. Did you buy from an ECF supplier? Hope it arrived today and you're vaping happy.

My guess is - you're seeing erroneous tracking information (not uncommon) and that it is indeed on its way to you - wouldn't surprise me to see it show up today (and/or tomorrow if your mail has already run today.) Priority mail is 2-3 days for most of us.

Hang in there - there's a reason they call it 'stalking the mailman.'

Thanks for all the replies...I just got off the phone with the post office that it was located at last and she said there is definitely something wrong and doesnt understand why it isnt showing updated info in the system.She took my number and said she will get back with me.Maybe she will,she said she knows the vendor from his visits to the P.O.Guess thats what I get for waiting til something tears up to order a backup.I have ordered from some vendors out West and it usually only takes 2 to 3 days even without priority shipping.I only hope that this catches on to the point that we can all have local vendors for these emergency situations LOL

Also I had never ordered from the vendor before and hadnt seen many posts on them here,they had an ego-T setup with the large battery for 39.99 and thats why I ordered from them.Im still not sure where the mess up happened but I am a little wary of ordering from them again.

I had a package sent out Tuesday, and tracking said it would be here today, was keeping up with it all week, and up until this morning said it was still in MN. This morning said it was in ATL, and now it says it's on its way here. I should be seeing mail carrier any minute. All the way from MN to here in one day? I sure hope so...gonna go hide in the bushes waiting BRB

I placed an order last weekend. Tracking hasn't been updated on mine. Mine says it is in Wiliamsport, PA Since Nov. 28. They must be getting busy and they aren't updating tracking information. I'm nervous because I'm using a not so reliable battery. I can't wait till the order gets here. Usually, after I place my order with them, it arrived in 2 days.

I hear ya Jdub....I have been vaping for almost 4 months and have ordered from several different vendors this is the craziest thing I have experienced and I felt a little stumped as to why the package was mailed back to the P.O it came from,and the lady at that post office that I spoke with found it a bit strange as well.I really hate that the only answer I got from the vendor was this has happened once before but im sure your package is still on its way.I had to end up calling the post office myself and the lady was very nice yet still couldnt understand why the package was shipped out and the returned to the P.O there.Frustrating when you dont have a backup PV and all you can do is wait and see.

I will go somewhere else and have my orders arrive sooner than never

thats 180 miles in 6 days. I am wondering why my products are not at my door like all the other ups priority packages I purchased the same day and they all arrived over 2 days ago from around the day area.

12/2/2011 3:05:15 PM We were a bit delayed in getting it shipped due to the flood of orders over the holiday. We mixed it on the 25th (Friday) but were not able to get it shipped until Monday AM. At that point it looks like the USPS sat on it until 8pm according to the tracking before they got it on it's way. It does look like it arrived in Kearny at 1:40 pm today.

We apologize for the shipping delay on our part.

I had the same thing happen the first time I ordered from vaporgod, I wouldn't worry about I still received my stuff, I just didn't get any updates until it arrived at my door. F5^&in idiot at the post office in Manchester,

Ok talked to the PO. The problem is that the carrier accidentally marked the packages as shipped when they were scanned as they left our home PO. The good news is they are on their way to you. The bad news is there may not be any updates to the tracking until they arrive. I apologize for this issue. I have told the PO they need to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Not to .... in, but what can the sender really do? The package was given to the USPS and the routing and/or tracking was screwed up by USPS.

I sent two packages via USPS to a friend in NYNY. One day apart. The second one arrived first. The first one, with an identical address, was returned with a no-such-address. I resent that same package 2 more times before the USPS could find the address to deliver it to again. I'm not a vendor, but I don't think they have any more pull than I over the the sub-par performance of the post office.

USPS is really... lacking in their abilities. Both in tracking packages and in actually shipping/delivering them.

I just got an order today that should have been here Wednesday. They sat on it for a full day in CA (where it originated) and again for a full day here in TX. Notice no update on 11/30, and then 27 hour gap to get from North Houston to Kingwood (which is in Northeast Houston). It also departed the CA facility before it was processed there?

They say Priority mail is 2 days in most cases. That was 4 days, and they won't even pretend to apologize for it.

Unfortunately my favorite vendor ONLY ships through USPS. I would gladly pay more to use UPS or FedEX.
