Now-a-days, I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD, or d/l it online. I've never really liked movie theaters, wish drive-in's had never disappeared.

I love the fact we still have drive-ins around here. It's usually the only time I go to the movies.

Two movies for less cost than one at the mall. Being able to walk around and stretch your legs without missing any of the movie. And being able to smoke vape without any worries. Can't beat that.

oh my stars, i 4got bout that ..yeah i had smoked in the hospital back in the days

The second night after my open heart I was walking down 3 flights of stairs to go out and have a cig, heart monitor and all. The nurses were are looking for me so they could give me my medication, plus, the monitor was going a bit and they were wondering what was going on. I took the elevator back up (I'm not dumb, going down is easy, coming back up, why walk?). Anyways, when I finally came back up they all asked where I had been, so I told them. You shoul've seen the look on their faces! The one nurse said "You can't be doing that!", I said, "No one told me I couldn't!"
That was after the smoking ban in hospitals, but, it just shows you what a determined set of lungs can do.

I finally got him turned onto e-cigs now though and he hasn't switched completely yet but is doing both for now.

That sucks.

I'll be nice enough not to mention that I have one 3 minutes from home and 3 more within a half hour drive :D

The open heart was 20 years ago, everything's fine, except I have to take blood pressure medication ( heart and brain can't figure out that the problem's been fixed).
Since I'm an I.T. guy - I don't know which windows you're using but,
Start>All Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>Magnifier. This will give you a magnified window you can move around you screen like a magnifying glass so you can read and type like you've got your bi-focals on.

:-x "progress" eh

we used to have one in the backyard practically when I was growing up. Could literally sit on the hill at the back of our property with a radio and watch it from there. Unfortunately that one has sat as an empty lot for the better part of 20 years now though.

Wanted to see the new 3-d production and man did that make me feel old.The new 3-d was worth the extra 3 bucks, knew I had entered the 21 century. We got drive thru's this way and just like the old days they are in shady parts of the world.

I can recall smoking in the grocery store and McDonalds! I now vape in Walmart, of course I pick an isle where no one else is and hide it. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the high school bathroom sneakin a "smoke" Don't want to cause a scene! I recall "smoking" is not illegal---just banned! LOL I think next time I'll vape when and where I want just to see if someone "turns me in" and then educate the uneducated about our PV! We'll see if it passes the "Walmart Test". How about "Banning" a person that smells bad, I find that offensive!!! Hand me the air freshner please!

Okay you almost had me feeling bad for ya after I rubbed in having 3 close by.

But then I found this...

Ford-Wyoming Drive-In Dearborn Michigan

which, if your location on here is correct, is only about 20 minutes away from you.

AND the only drive-in I've ever seen in the north that is open year round 8-o

;)

AS the crow flies with a good tail wind (20 minutes), plus no one else in the air with the crow. My wife's family lives out there and it's more like a 45 minute drive. I liked it better when we had one just around the corner and go to on a whim.
