So, I want to mail some e-liquid to a forum buddy, I have the box all set to go, and then I get this scary message on the usps website about telling the postal worker about liquids in the box I'm about to send. Well, I was going to print the label and drop it in the mail slot, but the message is indicating that I need to take it to the PO in person. So, I use the online chat feature on the usps site, and the rep tells me not to just drop the package in the drop box. She gives me a 1-800 number to call for more info. Now, I feel like I'm sending some top secret stuff that requires "special" handling.

What experiences have other folks had with mailing e-juice? What happens at the PO when you tell them you're mailing liquids? Am I going to need a background check, five forms of ID, and a dna sample to mail this package? I need some giudance, please!

I've received and mailed ejuice for over a year now.
Tape the caps. Put bottles in a plastic baggie. Wrap in a little bubble wrap for padding. Put in a padded envelope (recycled from juice you've received. Seal it well. Weigh it. Go to PP mulit-shipping tool and enter info. Print out mailing label w postage. Tape it to envelope and seal envelope. Put in mailbox (if it fits) or take to PO and hand to clerk saying "Your work is already done".

That's it. Should be a nice package for someone to receive.

If you want to test this procedure, you can send me some ejuice and I will tell you how it arrives. lol

All up in your grill..
They will ask you if there are any flammable hazardous liquids or perishables. Say no. It will mail just fine. It is NOT a banned item. thus not illegal to mail. It's only going to be a big deal if you make one out of it. If the clerk is unsure the default answer will be no. They are not experts. It is legal to ship eliquid currently.
