I apologize. My point wasn't that he would not like it. My point was that he wouldn't be impressed. I fell for all the hype, thinking the ProV would be this amazing device. It turned out to be just an average device that came out when most devices were crap.

This is not the case as of last year.

But which device will we be saying the same about next year?

What PV's even existed last February that you see mentioned this February? Which ones will still be in the conversation next February?

Fight fight!!!!! lol.......This provari thing is a trigger! My humble opinion.....if you plan on being a low ohm vaper get a provari V2. I'm talking making attys with coils reading like 1-1.3ohm where you need 2.9-3.1 volts. My Provari V2 is the only mod that will consistently do that. The v2 will also push dual coiled cartos flawlessly. Screwing on the batt end cap is like turning the knob on a radio...superb quality. If you go this route you only want a V2. If you do not plan on extreme vaping/super low res. geekness like me then any of the other mods mentioned are great.

This is one of the differences. Some people want to push 3.5 amps. Some people will never need to.
With a stainless steel mesh wick that wont burn, the provari is 1 of the only electric devices on the market that will do it. This is why you need to watch reviews, make your own opinions. 1.5ohms at 5 volts is impossible with other mods. On the other hand if you want variable wattage, your not getting that with the provari. Watch and read reviews.

Ah, you guys got it all wrong

How can you possibly get a good vape without one of these?

DNA20D board, 1500mAh 20C li-poly batt, low profile switches, and Evolv's micro USB charging board.

and here is Pbusardo's review on the Zmax V2 the charts are at 30:40

See, if you take the time to actually look at charts, you see the differences in these devices.
Are they HUGE? not at all. But when I see people say the provari is over rated OR its not as good?
Well, I usually don't say anything. lol. But this time I did. Now I'm done! :) sort of.
This same thread will get started 10 more times by the end of this month.

No one can make you buy anything. You need to do your own research.
That might mean you need to go above asking for people's opinions on a forum.

this isn't the forum to say things like that. we keep things clean blaq.
I posted those videos because the reviewer uses an oscilloscope to meter PVs.
Every reviewer that uses an oscilloscope would give the same charts.
I'm not in love with him. I posted so that anyone that wishes to review the charts can do so.

I was going to link to this thread for help in future provari discussion but I cannot now.
please don't use rude language on ecf. there are other vape forums that allow it.

At 15ws youre not vaping juice anymore youre burning it. My juice tastes nasty at 5 volts or around 9-10 watts with a 2.0ohm cart I cant even imagine how youre finding juices to take that kind of abuse honestly.

As for the debate thats raging on the Provari its an excellent device despite what some people with an ....ahem.... somewhat limited perspective might have you believe.

Im actually surprised that one of those people is still able to post on these forums given the trollish nature of previous posts.

I apologize if I offended you.

    1. You are not the one behind the o-scope so you have no idea if the results are remotely true to your point.
    2. You still have not even told us that you actually have a Provari.

Provaris were the best options in 2011. They aren't anymore.

But isn't that just as much of a personal opinion as you are accusing others of?

i have tried a ton of mods and came back to the provari as it works best for me and my lifestyle, others like reos or gg or whatever else hits the market. i went the route of rebuildables also and they certainly are not anything id ever go back to. for simplicity i use my provaris with cartos and kir tanks.
