Should I buy this for a family member? LOL...

My step mom ( 75 years old ) Quit smoking and vaped for almost 6 months. She started straying away from the juices I brought her and buying PG based cinnamon flavored juice from the local smoke shop. She quit because she had some swelling and irritation on her lips and tongue.

Well its flu season, and of course she has had a respiratory infection and wants to try vaping unflavored 100% VG juice with about 6-12mg of nicotine.

She is horrible at taking care of her vape gear, and she wont put anything on a charger until it is bone dead, with no back up.

If I order her one to try, I am kinda thinking about one for myself... seems like it would power a nautilus for at least one full day.

Any thoughts?

oh yeah... I am going to DIY her unflavored nicotine using distilled water so it is easy to vape with no wicking issues...

The button doesn't bother me actually. I cant really tell how big it actually is but the battery overall looks good.
I have had bad experiences with FastTech before. I never received my package but seems like you dont have that issue but... good luck!

Upper respiratory infections where a major issue with me until the last one sent me to the doctors office for antibiotics. His answer was "Just use Guaifenesin 400 mg" over the counter. Don't need to buy that high dollar rip-off DM stuff. Store brand is the same thing 1/3 the price. Take it before going to bed and it breaks up the mucus from your sinus running down into your chest, That's how it all starts. I haven't had a problem since (over 10 years now). I vape only VG because PG was just to harsh.

My wife got sores on her lips and in her mouth. We got rid of the metal drip tips and that was the end of her sores. Just a thought. CHEERS!

Oh I have been a paramedic and a label reader for years... Guaifenesin can be found at any dollar general for a buck or two and works quicker than in pill form.

Of course in the last 2 years of vaping I havent had to take any because If I do get sick its never a respiratory infection... not the case when I was smoking cigarettes.

I think my step moms problem was the PG content, The Cinnamon red hot juice, and the fact that the crappy CE4 clearos she insisted on using were filthy... she never cleaned them, and as we all know some flavors have a chemical reaction with tanks.

Stainless drip tips have never been an issue with me... but its good to know that is a thing. I guess how some folks cant wear jewelry or ear rings made of certain metals.

You have to be very patient while charging this thing - it will take forever, almost 10 hours, using Ego's 450 Mah charger.

I've had really bad luck with fasttech and ego type stuff, but everything else has been flawless

She might also like the X6 (kamry). 1300 mah, both ego and 510 connectors, and they last a really long time and are CHEAP and very very lightweight, and lots of girly colors.

I sent her a few links but she is set on this particular one... All she has ever used is ego style batteries. She wont pick up an MVP or any thing not tube shaped.

She wants this because it will hold a charge all day and because she can stand it up without tipping.

She is a stubborn old woman, but she takes good care of my Dad and that makes me kinda spoil her.

If I can get her to vape with it I guess its win win for everyone.

Dude... i would give her my Provari, I would give her my Dovpo, one of my CF SUB batteries and an Atlantis. I would buy her a brand new VTR.

You dont understand... I am a 44 year old full grown man, and this 75 year old woman has threatened me with a switch ( for you not raised in the south, that is a skinny tree branch for hitting children ).. She is stubborn and cranky, suffers from respiratory issues ( Most likely COPD ) but wont see a doctor.

It took 1 year... a full year to get her to even try an ecig...

She is hell bent on this thing.... I could tell her it will explode in her face and she wouldnt believe me.

When she got a "Virus" on her computer, she downloaded a "PC cleaner" and then got a message to call this autorized microsoft rep to fix her computer... She paid 260$ and gave somebody remote access to her computer and it continued to be locked up with spyware and crap.

I wiped her drive, gave her a fresh windows install and told her that she has been scammed. To this day she does not believe me.

I hate to say she is ignorant... but she is. I dont want her face to get blown off... but she will just order it herself if I dont get it for her.
