I have had three t-atomizers for almost a month. They were supposed to be a replacement for my dead mega atomizers.

The last few days one has been getting very hot after about 2-3 draws.

One (the lr I think) now doesn't do anything at all. I tried adjusting the wicking, but it is difficult see making the task a pain.

Another broke. I put on a new tank, went to refill it and the plate, piercing tube, and wicking was stuck to the tank. It took enough force (and it was wet) to get it off that it slipped from my fingers and went down the sink. I live in an apartment and am not allowed to take apart the plumbing to retrieve it.

Until today, I liked the system even though the one atomizer was getting hot. Now I am frustrated because I now don't have any ego stuff that works well enough.

I don't have the money to keep buying stuff or trying it and finding it won't work.

First off don't give up. You got a months worth out of an atomizer and that is pretty good. These things don't last forever. I use an ego-t as my backup and you have to replace some parts once in a while. A new Atomizer is about $10 and if you clean them and make them last a month then you are ahead of the game.

I see you use to smoke analogs like the rest of us and if you still smoked you would probable be spending well over $100 a month on analogs so spending $$30-$40 a month vaping still puts you way ahead not to mention the health benefit of it.

Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. :thumb:

So I should go through three atomizers in a month? I didn't use one exclusively, I alternated between three of them. I would have thought I would get them to last three months since I was not using just one exclusively. Are the B types $10? If so I haven't found them that cheap because I don't know where to find them.

Ok, I have been in contact with customer service. There may be a clog in the overheating one. I don't know what is wrong with the one that quit, and the one that had the parts go down the drain will get a replacement of those parts, but only when I buy something new...it will be shipped when I buy something else.

I was told these are high maintenance so maybe the XL atomizers and carts are a better fit for me.

Atomizers Tank Atty's $6...good prices period

I ordered a couple from them...fast shipping...good folks.

Didnt see if the 'T' was your only PV, but for what it's worth, I retired my Tank system. It went through way more juice, for quadruple the hassle and half the flavor and vapor of my Bloog setup. A carto holds at/over a ml, and NOTHING ELSE OUT THERE has the same flavor. I gave up on all the Tank, dripping, LR, carts, filler, etc BS, bought an extra MF battery and PT and went back to loving vaping!!

Regardless...stick with what works for you and makes you happy and DONT GO BACK TO ANALOGS!!

Mom attys do not last that long they are a disposable part of an ecig , at 3.7 volts ( that is what an Ego runs at ) they last pretty long BUT they do burn out, the HOT one might have been a LR type ( low resistance ) did it make more vapor ? if so it could have been a LR atty .

This is just a part of vaping BUT it is cheaper in the long run and it might even keep you alive longer ????? you know for the kids

+10 on the cartoz

If you're using a juice with a high amount of VG that might be why it's clogging and getting hot. Usually when an atomizer runs hot it's due to not being kept wet. I've heard that the tanks don't do well with high VG juice because it's thicker and it doesn't wick well. It will also cause clogging.

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble, but please, don't give up! It's worth it to keep trying until you find out what works for you. Your life is priceless!

Swedish offered a suggestion that I'm going to second. I really hated carts and I got tired of trying to mod them so they'd work. Cartos are so much easier to deal with and they've really come a long way. They work so much better and they're cheaper than atomizers.

I use cartos from Ikenvape and I love them! I would think that the Boge cartos fill just as easily. Pop off the mouthpiece and drip juice onto the filler. A standard carto usually holds around 20-25 drops and XL cartos can hold anywhere from 40-60 depending on the brand.

The boge ones, would take a few drops and then I would have to let it sit awhile, add more, then let it sit awhile, then add more and so on. It was the same for the v4l cartos. I got the boge from liberty flights.

Someone told me there is some carto like the one you are talking about that hold up to 3ml.

I need to figure out what to do soon because I am down to using stuff that doesn't work very good.

The cartos I swear by are Bloogs (yes, 808's), and I have tried many. They are a horizontal coil, hold a ml, and last forever. I top off about 2/3 of the way through and they are beyond easy to fill. They are 2.6-2.8 ohm (as Bloogs run 3.7-4.2v) and are great on my backup Ego too, but the Ego runs at 3.2v so a slightly lower ohm carto might be ideal for that. You wont get better flavor and vapor than a well matched cartomizer and they are the simplest maintenance IMHO.

I second the comment that all atty's and cartos cannot run dry or they will die! Also be wary of dark/sweet juices as they tend to junk up coils more (again, keep em wet and dont burn, burn, burn faster than they can re-wick)
CE2s/clearos/etc IMO are no better than tanks...they are a pain, dont wick fast enough (or leak if they are tweaked) and dont have anywhere near the same flavor production.

My 2cents...order some cartos to give it a try, you wont be disappointed, they are much more reasonably priced, and you could always go back to the tanks. I will look for a good carto match & deal for you and post again.

I can fill the IkenVape XL's with up to 55 drops and that's almost 3mls. They suck up the juice very well, too. It only takes me a couple of minutes to fill a new one. Have you tried filling with a syringe?
