I am using 28g and 500# mesh on my AGA-T2 and Silver Bullet with a protected AW 18650. With an 8/9 wrap I am sitting at 1.5ohms and damn does this thing blow clouds! The wicking can barely keep up with all that surface area being heated. Def can't use high VG liquids. I tried a lower resistance coil and it was good, but I wanted to use as much real estate on that wick as possible. The 8/9 wrap is pushing the limit for sure. My 18650s will make it barely 24 hours now, when they used to go a few days on my vaping style.

Sorry to barge into this thread so late, but I started building my AGA-T+ and RSST with SS rope and Kanthal .5mm ribbon. I get a very consistent reading of 1.0 to 1.1 ohm with that combo. I find my mechanicals love this range as well as my Provari. With my Provari, I can set the voltage to 3.8 and the vapor production is AMAZING! Never get a burned taste due the wicking properties of the SS rope.
