yea... its + or - on the batteries. I usually fully discharge 2 batteries a day. Will just start a 3rd as I get ready for bed.

not really liking all the battery swaps, but I do like the mini size compared to the 18650 sizes.
probably going to get the aftermarket extension so I can use the 18650's at home.

overall though.... its a pretty good device.

I just got some 30awg kanthal, and I've been experimenting with it, for the last couple days. The DIDs have such large wick holes (3.5mm) that I wasn't happy with using my 32awg, which I use on smaller wicks, like in the Cobra or Bliss. I wanted to keep my ohms down below 2.0 on my Vamo or Provari, but I wanted more wraps than the 32awg would allow. I'm currently breaking in a 4 wrap, 30awg coil on a 1/8", 500 mesh wick, which ohmed out at 1.7, and so far, it's excellent.

After vaping 28g wire on mechanical mod....I will never go back to VV/VW devices. You get far better battery life with a mechanical mod no matter how you set up your atty. The vape is pretty damn consistent as well....no point in using a vv device. You just have to use good batteries like AW or Panasonic or MNKE...IMR batteries.

I have too much $$$ invested in VV and VW mods to change horses in mid stream now. I have about 12 of them.

this is very true, it is hard to beat a mechanical mod w/ 28g. but i will always have a nitch for my provar v-2.

i never understood the reason for buying more then 1 of the same mods. I have 1 black provari mini, an orion v2.1, and an NGP touch. but the NGP doesn't even get used really. if i wasn't so picky with juice and had more then 1 all day vape id probably have more tho. i can see having 2 or 3 provaris with ZAPs on them, each with a different juice.. but dang that's a lot of loot.

thats the way i see it, after all this time i was lucky enough to find 3 all day juices (COV=kona creme & butterscotch and mount baker vapors caramel candy) thats it after almost a year of trying about a hundred juices. so i have basically 3 mods and 3 gennys, actually 4 gennys.

Since I've been making my own juice, I don't really have an 'all day' flavor. I have several that I'll alternate between throughout the day, depending on my mood. Sometimes I might feel like a strong tobacco, like a 555. Sometimes I might feel like a sweet type flavor. I'm forever fooling around with new ideas; some good, some not so good. I guess I have a dozen or so that I make repetitively, once I have the recipe the way I want it. By using various VV or VW devices, I can dial in the wattage for various juices. Each juice has it's own 'sweet spot'. It's why I don't think mechanicals are for me. If I were to change juice in an RBA, I'd have to change out the coil.

yes, i see what you are saying. like you said if you make your own, you might find that you will like them better, thus having a better variety. i would like to have more good flavors, i just havent found them. but with more flavors comes more mods.

I do not have the funds at the moment to get into DIY, but in about a month I will. and I plan to put ALL my patience and practice into making some delicious juices. I am extremely picky, and all I vape is rawrs banana cream pie. I do love mrsts bakery fried peanut butter and banana, and some other peanut butter juice she has, but her prices and wait time is just flat out ridiculous. I plan on enjoying vaping ALOT more once I master the art of DIY. lol i hope i have as much success as i expect i will.
