Well, if you are ready to spend that kind of money - yes! If you want something a little cheaper, take a look at the Lavatube or the LT "knock-offs..... Apollo sells them for like $75 and they do have a coupon code (vtube30) for 30% off the tube while their supplies last. I own 2 original LT's from Volcanoecigs, there they are about $100 so Apollo is cheaper and they also have a 1 year warranty on the unit, just like Volcano..... It's totally up to you and depends on how much you want to spend. I LOVE my LT's!!!!!!!!!

myself im going mid range ive followed same path as most im going from riva 510 to maybe silver bullet as want a long lasting ie many hours but not sure i want to jump to one of the top PV just yet and im enjoying my 2 ohm boge cartos on my riva
im sure if i had read everything on here i would have probably jumped straight in with a provari or somthing in the same type however i dont think i would have had as much fun going from cigalikes to a top PV
i belive there are several top range jobies out there thinks it will be 6 months before i do the big jump so will watch this thread with intrest as i will be asking myself the same question im sure when the urge to go down the VV route or might just get a kick for the SB if my better half allows me to get a SB that is :)

keep up the vaping

I have been vaping now for a couple of months I only have tried 2 types of ecig a cheap one from the mall and my ego-c.
I really enjoy vaping more than I did smoking but should I buy the provari? Or is there something out their that is close to it.

I'd say get something that will make a permanent backup for your ultimate PV. Don't forget that the eGos are disposable. They won't last forever. Get a good 510 device with replaceable batteries. Get a good charger that will handle some common battery sizes. Then, start using and learning about juice delivery systems. Your experience has been extremely limited if all you've used is the eGo-C and a mall cig.

Spend your cash on what makes the most difference. Juice, and it's delivery devices, makes a greater difference to the quality of your vape than any battery. A good juice in a good atty/clearo/carto attached to a lowly kGo is better than a bad juice in a POS clearo installed on a Provari. Make your battery suit your juice delivery system, don't choose your battery and then try to find a juice delivery system that works the best for it. In the end, a PV is just something to power your juice delivery/cooking system with.

Wean yourself off the disposable PVs. Get something reliable and permanent and versatile and not ridiculously expensive. After you've tried different juice delivery devices, you may find that you're a hardcore dripper, or you prefer tanks above all else, or a certain clearo is all you like. Then, you'll be in a much better position to decide what to spend the big bucks on. Meanwhile, you'll already have gotten a good backup. Even a Provari or a Reo owner needs a backup.

I don't think anyone disputes that a Provari is worth the money. That's not the question.

The question is, is it worth the money to a particular person with a particular level of experience and a particular budget and particular needs at a particular time.

A Lamborghini is "worth it". But not for everyone at any time.

For some people, a Reo Grande VV is more "worth it". Or a Darwin is more "worth it". Not everyone can afford everything, so it's good to know which one is more "worth it" for you before you assume the device with the loudest fans is the device that's right for you.

It sounds like you know that you will stick with vaping so I would say -yes-make the investment in a provari. I have been vaping for a few years now and have had 10 or 12 different mods and from the first vape on a provari I havent had the desire to even look at another device. It is built to last. I cant see myself ever needing to buy another mod. I just order a fresh set of batteries every few months. My only monthly expenses now are cartos and juice which means I am spending alot less vaping than I was when smoking.

Another good thing to keep in mind, if you get a provari and dont like it, you can get your money back via the classifieds.

Minor clarification: The 30% off discount applies to both the tube AND the full kit. The tube ends up being about $35 and the kit about $50 after discount.

Nice thing about Apollos is that they have a 30 day "trial" return option. That's pretty rare in the mod world.

You can always try different devices on your eGo batteries. These seem to be the hottest things on the block right now.
    Vision Clearomizers
    CC (Changeable Head) 2.4ml Clearos
No doubt you will eventually get a VV APV, but what's the rush. Enjoy the ride ... it's a good one, you will be spending enough on different juices and different atties/cartos for a while.

Heck, I say if you have the money and you know you like vaping, why not go for it? It's supposed to be one of the best out there. Of course, new products come out all the time, but you could always resell it if you found something you wanted more in the future. In the long run, you could end up spending a lot more on lesser devices and not be totally happy... Good Luck and Happy Vaping on what ever you decide!

70 bucks for a lavatube leaves alot of extra money if you want to try juices get more batterys/cartos and things like that. I got the stainless vtube from apollo and it is all i need. Even once you get the provari the chances of you wanting something else are very high. A rebuildable atty/bottomfeeder/Vv wood mod. The mods are endless. So i would say spend less so you can spend more later :)

I love my provari! Would definitely recommend it. That said, I suggest if you want to try a vv device, give the ego twist a try. Nice and cheap, and works really well!

I couldn't agree more with this statement. The Ego Twist is a great way to dip your toes in the VV pool. I have a Provari, and love it, but had the Ego twist been available I would have probably bought it instead. (that and a gallon of juice with all the money I saved) The Ego twist is definitely a game changer because of its price. I am actually buying one or two to serve as backups in the event that (god forbid) anything happens to my Provari.

Exactly the reason I got one. Pubusardo gave it a thumbs up and sold me on it. Works like a champ. :)

I've been vaping for going on 2 years now and just bought my first Provari. It is an awesome device, I dont go anywhere without it and all my other devices have become back-ups. However I dont think I would have bee able to appreciate it nearly as much had it been my first PV. I would definitely agree about getting a lower price VV PV like a LT or Ego twist to make sure you like higher voltages, some people prefer 3.7. You really cant beat the Apollo deal and they have great customer service and warranty.
