Should I order the EGO?

I am new to vaping and thank god I found this board. I am totally confused.

I ordered the 901 with and automatic battery. I like it but I am constantly charging batteries. I was thinking of ordering the EGO kit because of the battery life. I like a lot of vapor with a good TH and a long lasting battery. I smoked 1-1 1/2 packs a day and the 901 is not cutting it. I know I have to go to a stronger juice because the 18mg is not doing it. Now does the EGO come with an automatic battery or just manual. And which is better the automatic or manual batteries? And where is the best deal for the EGO? I know a lot of questions but I guess that is why I am in the newbie forum.

I'd go with a Riva over an eGo. Basically the same thing, but the Riva lasts a bit longer, is a bit cheaper, and I prefer the Riva's soft button to the eGo's hard plastic button.

You might also consider a 3.7v box mod. It's cheaper to replace batteries, and I prefer the vapor at 3.7v over the eGo/Riva's 3.1v. Lots of places sell them, including Clouds of Vapor, Mad Vapes, and Ken's Box Mods. If you're willing to build you own, you can get everything you need (all parts, 2 attys, 2 batteries, and a charger) for about $40 at Mad Vapes.

Manual batteries are better, if juice gets in a auto battery it messes it up. eGo with a LR atomizer might be the way to go for you. Sound to me like thats what your looking for with lots of vapor and TH. Liberty Flights has 20% off right now also freedomsmokeUSA i believe is having a hardware sale 20 or 25% plus they have some pretty good juice.

Native to the eGo is the 510 atomizer which will give you a better TH than your 901. For that reason, I would steer you toward not buying a stronger juice just yet. You *may* find that the 18 mg is just fine coupled with the 510 and the added oomph (mah) of the eGo battery. I haven't used an auto battery in well over a year. I found them troublesome and I only drip, so it's a manual battery for me.

As far as where to buy it... if you can wait (took 8 days for me), GreenhouseOne has some outstanding deals... you're just not going to find much better bargains anywhere. If you purchase the eGo and find that you're *still* not getting the TH you desire, the eGo is capable of firing up a LR atty, so it's money well spent toward that end as well.

Good luck...

Hi, and welcome to ECF. Yes the eGo/Riva is the way to go if you want good battery life. LR atty's will help with the TH but not with the nic level. I'd suggest buying a few bottles of different strengths to find out what works for you. You can find auto batt's for the eGo, but I wouldn't recommend them. Manuals are just so much more controllable and robust, it's where we all end up anyway so save yourself the trouble. Well, those are my opinions, others have theirs, so take what you can from each and make a decision based on your needs.

Hello. i thought i'd throw in my two cents for you. i've had a 901 kit and it is nice, but like Richie G said, the TH on the 510 atty (the one with an eGo) is a bit bigger so try it before you get stronger juice. IMO the 510 LR atty in combination with the eGo is an outstanding choice. you'll get great TH, vapor production, and the batteries will last a long time. like i said, i have used a 901 kit for a while. i preferred my 510 kit because of the manual battery and the 510 atties. about a month ago i went with an eGo. on one hand i'm happy that i didn't choose it first because i never would have had to experiment with other PVs. on the other hand i'm ...... that i didn't choose it first because i NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD TO experiment with other PVs. Happy Vaping!!!

I've tried the 901, and have used the 901 attys on a couple of my mods, but am not satisfied with it. It has a hard draw & I find that it mutes the flavor in my juice. I now use 510 and LR510 attys in every piece of hardware that I own. Great flavor, TH, and good vapor - so I would advise switching to an eGO, which will accept either the 510 or LR510 attys.......

I found a website that met all of my needs. They are located in Florida. I got the Riva, 2 LR attys, and 10 XL mega cartridges for $55.84. If you put GRAND for a coupon code it will knock off 20% and if you order over $49.95 it is free shipping. The kit came with enough for 2 vaporizors and 10 empty cartridges.

Well Mike from vapor-ize.com emailed me about my order not long after I made it. I made a mistake in ordering and he questioned it. I thanked him for catching it. Alot of websites probably wouldn't have questioned it and I would have been stuck with a mistake.

I ordered my juice from MadVapes.com. Good price and here in North Carolina.

I've been using a 901 for two months, just got my eGo yesterday. I already love it. I'm glad that I still have the 901, since I'll use that for all the different flavor samples I've ordered. If you start out with an eGo, you should be good for a while...just don't start looking at the chucks, I already have mine designed in my head! Good luck, finding this forum will definitely help you out.
