Well I allready do the local flea market. Some weekends are good (sell 10 kits) others are horrible. But there just isn't much traffic at the market.
My mission is 2 fold, get people off of analogs and make a couple of bucks.
I'm just wondering (and I guess no one can answer that) if 3-400 bucks is worthwhile setting up a booth. (for 2 days)

If you didn't do flea markets, I'd probably say too risky, but since you have experience it could be well worth it. Just think of what it would cost to keep a retail shop open for 2 days and you wouldn't get anywhere near the traffic. I'd think car show people would have a high percentage of smokers. Even cooler if the place lets people vape indoors. You could even sell them to the others running booths.
Raise your prices a bit to compensate for the booth cost.
Well, certainly not a "chunk", but a little guy like me has to watch every penny.
I'd just be taking a chance I guess. Remember, I'd also "loose" 2 flea market days.
Yes, got to email the chief over there and ask him if it's ok to vape.
One thing I'd also ask about is actually "selling" your products there... I've worked a few booths at trade shows in my time and there were rules against that at most of them (of course, there was always a way around it... ha!!) but mostly it was just about taking orders and/or promoting your goods...
You would have to look at your audience (potential buyers) to gain knowledge if they could be diverted to purchase e-cigs while being attracted to a car show. I would say you would have better luck at a motorcycle rally/convention such as Wing Ding or a harley type. A buyer would need to be receptive of the concept. Just my two cents. (Just thinking of the price vs potential customer).
Some ideas? state fairs, senior fairs, and local fairs. One would be targeting a vast group.
I always ask what the attendance has been in the past years, and work the math based on that. I figure double the booth rent as a break-even point, and sales to .5% of the folks that attend. It's just a ballpark guess on the best days, but it gives me a little something to go on.
I like that SM, at least it gives me SOME numbers.
State and local fairs etc are rediculous expensive here. They have a "Denton Days" coming up, I think it was $500 or more. That just ain't worth it.
I would stick with a working format, only reason to consider it would be your coppers have a very car guy type appeal to me, which might land you some business just on that fact, another that might drive sales there would be to call in a favor for any hot or asian women you may know to vape in bikinis, (just my theory, but Bikinis sell stuff)
