Agreed.

If they come out with a VW option it needs to be an entirely new model so they can provide support to those of us who only want or need VV.

And I hope they dont stray too far from their design principles if they do come out with another model or we'll end up with another e-vic

I want a red satin finish as a color option.

*That* is a great idea. The only thing I would change is making the 18650 endcap flat. I didn't know why they couldn't have corrected that even if it made it a tiny bit less attractive. Not that big a deal just a pita.

Batitude I already want one. :)

They need VW option, this seems to be way better than VV IMO. So if they want to keep up with competition they need to catch up again IMO.
except looking in the classies and on here and the website they dont seenm to have a problem moving units, so catch up with what? the stock they can barely hold onto now?

I personally see no reason for vw it doesnt do anything for me. i just wish they would make it already so everyone would quit complaining (no offense meant to you btw)...i just mean in general.

and i find it amusing that this is the only electronic mod where everyone is buying them but at the same time so many people think they are behind in some way. while at the same time fully mechanical mods with no VV or VW at all are never in stock and yet no one is complaining that they arent adjustable in some way for 350 dollars.

It's the only mod I will ever need again. I just don't need variable wattage because I use the same 3 ohm cartos in a tank every time and after meals I crank it up and then later I crank it back down. I hope if they make a VW Provari that it's a whole separate unit. Then it won't be huge and less durable.

Adding VW isn't going to make the Provari any less durable. We're talking about Provape here ... have they EVER released something that isn't durable? The only thing that changes is the chipset/firmware. It's not like they have to add some new circuit board that is more volatile to damage. In fact, depending on how much room they have on their chipset ... it's possible all they need to do is rewrite the firmware to make wattage calculation. In such a case, the ONLY thing that literally changes is the software of the device.

As far as what they might want to change ... Price might comes to mind. The devices coming out of China are becoming more durable and accurate. If that continues, it's going to be hard to maintain market share at their current price point.

I don't need variable wattage, the variable voltage works just fine. If I could have anything changed about Provari, I would say that they should make Limited Edition runs of their products. Another suggestion would be for them to get into the Genesis atomizer/tank market, I know they sell Zenesis items (which are great) but are NEVER available!

I'm a tweaker so variable wattage on a Provari would probably be less useful to me, as I constantly change my settings.

However on the Vamo, I prefer wattage. I can tweak the watts with a single click of a button and my Vamo actually remembers the wattage settings after a battery change. If I didn't have a Vamo, I'd still be using VV. VW is more of a luxury than a necessity however for those who constantly change their heads that might not be the case.

For me, different devices vape better at different wattage anyways. I can go up all the way to 11 watts on my genesis atty while my mini nova's get set at 6-8 watts depending on the juice in them.

As for VW, I'm in the same camp as a couple of people who have already posted that they might want to create a new product for that. I don't have (nor do I need) VW, and the current Provari setup is perfect for what I need.

As for the Provari itself, just more color options would be cool. Dark red, dark blue, dark green, dark purple (see a "dark" pattern here?). :D I would be inclined to purchase another if they did that. Maybe even a slight update to the body design such as offering the teardrop indents of the mini on the full sized model.

If Provape does offer VW updates to existing owners, I hope it has finer VW adjustments than existing 0.5 watt increment to get 1 step ahead of existing VW products.

Anything less than .5 increments and I honestly doubt you'll notice the difference. Wattage change is very subtle due to the math involved with voltage adaptation.

I use the same type of carto for months at a time, and while VW isnt so important to me, it doesnt make sense for it not to eventually become the standard over volts due to its precision.

They couldnt make it any better if they wanted to IMO, unless of course it was $1

Wattage is actually a less precise measurement than VV at the moment. With VV I can adjust it in increments of .1 volt.Feel free to correct me if Im wrong but VW devices only allow adjustment in .5 watt increments dont they?

Variable Wattage simply changes your voltage based on resistance. It's not any more or less "precise" so to speak. The reason devices use .5 increments is because the voltage change is rather mild.

For instance ... a 3 ohm carto @ 6 watts = 4.24 volts
a 3 ohm carto @ 6.5 watts = 4.41
@ 7 watts = 4.58

As you can see 0.5 watts equals roughly 0.2 volts. 0.2 volts is a pretty subtle change when it comes to VV, as to is 0.5 watts.
