Why fix something that's not broken? Provari reigns, and will for more years to come.
Software updates and minor cosmetic changes (the newer satin finishes) aside, I can't argue with your statement.

The Silver Bullet is a bare bones mechanical mod that is manufactured nearly as well as the Provari and hasn't been updated much since it was introduced some 3 years ago. Still an extremely popular mod that Altsmoke has trouble keeping up with the demand. I could see the Provari being the same. There will always be a large market for a well built, durable mod that is backed up with excellent customer service.

Variable Wattage simply changes your voltage based on resistance. It's not any more or less "precise" so to speak. The reason devices use .5 increments is because the voltage change is rather mild.

For instance ... a 3 ohm carto @ 6 watts = 4.24 volts
a 3 ohm carto @ 6.5 watts = 4.41
@ 7 watts = 4.58

As you can see 0.5 watts equals roughly 0.2 volts. 0.2 volts is a pretty subtle change when it comes to VV, as to is 0.5 watts.
0.1 volts spells a lot of difference in flavor for me. Exactly why I want a finer vw adjustment than current "on the market" 0.5 watts. Vw is inferior than vv unless they come out with finer adjustment than current 0.5 watts.

Just for clarification purposes VV is more precise at the moment and your post illustrates that. You might think 2 volts isnt much of a difference but to those of us used to it even .1 volts can make a difference in flavor.

I think youre going to continue to see VW devices that include VV as well for this reason alone. It just lets you fine tune a tiny bit more.

It's going to depend on your device as well. For instance, on my genesis I honestly can't tell much of difference between 9-11 watts. On my mini novas though, I can tell the difference every 0.5 watts.
True. I can live with my genesis attys with ss wick on a fixed voltage with a 1.3 coil. But on a silica wick on ody and penelope, minute .1 volt adjustments spells a big difference in taste.

corrected that should read .2 volts instead of 2 volts

I have the Provari Mini, and I love the tear drop design and the quality. I wouldn't change the design, but I would love to see some new offerings. For example, I would love to see a Provari Box Mod. So my two cents is don't change the current designs, just have new offerings. As far as the internals, if they can improve it, I'm up for it. Especially if existing owners can upgrade their devices.

I would like the ability to "flip" the reading on the screen. I often hold the device in my left hand and change the settings with my index finger -the display is upside down in this position. It would be a nice feature and probably wouldn't be too difficult to implement, just a little extra programming and an extra dot added to the display capability.

Also, more color options would be fantastic. I would love a shamrock green color or a hot pink/pink-purple. I usually like pink but the pink they have available is too baby pink/pastel for me.

I'm all for new color options. I doubt the 1-button control and current menu system will be changed if they do decide to add VW, so I imagine upgrading current devices will still be an option as it was for v1 units when the v2 was released. I don't see much reason in making an 18650 end cap for the mini when you could just get the regular Provari (for new buyers), but I know some people really love the teardrop design. Maybe they should offer the same design on the full size unit instead, as well as the vertical grooves on the mini so buyers can choose their favorite design on either device.

That said, I agree with many others that the v2 just about as close to perfect as anyone can reasonably ask and needs no fixing. They can decide not to make another version for all I care - not that I'd mind getting something better from the brilliant minds that brought us the current lineup. I think VW is a little overrated, but I'm sure it will be included if/when they do decide to make a v3.
