I have been thinking (shock to my system also) but OK I don't get it ......
Why add anything to ejuce like maoi's or is it wta's or something ??? Anyway I get the whole it makes it easier to quit cigs etc but is this not actually making it harder to quit by adding what's in cigs to our ejuce ?? Were do we stop adding ??
Cigs have over 4000 chemicals an well I enjoy vaping 3.......so why add more its like drawing it all out even longer ? Again I get the whole at least I'm not smoking bit but again how far do we copy them ???? How far would you go adding ?? Me well I wouldn't ever add anything else due to the fact I don't see the point in drawing the crave out any longer than it has to be ..:)

This is from the Aromajuice website;

"What is Whole Tobacco Alkaloids e-liquid (WTA)?

WTA contains minor tobacco alkaloids along with nicotine in the form of a traditional e-liquid. The process used to purify nicotine from tobacco for traditional E-juice is rather specific in that it isolates the nicotine with very few traces of other tobacco alkaloids. The WTA extraction method includes these other alkaloids.

How is WTA produced?

Aroma Ejuice WTA is produced by using a less specific isolation method from whole tobacco leaf. Nothing is added, it is a process to isolate more from the tobacco than just nicotine. From the prevailing literature, the alkaloid profile of tobacco is approximately 95% nicotine and 5% minor and trace alkaloids. WTA aims to provide tobacco's alkaloid profile in an e-liquid form while excluding thousands of chemicals that are present in tobacco smoke."

So it's not technically adding anything, it's making what is already in our juice...more. There is more to read on the FAQ section on that site.

All I can tell you is what it does for me. I smoked for 35 years. All was good when I quit (haven't had a cigarette since) but sometimes it was hard. Then I noticed that I couldn't freaking stand myself, was being all mopey and gloomy and that is not me. So I did some research and found WTA's and ordered some. I felt normal again. I don't vape that juice every day even though it's quite nice.
I am still transitioning to a non-smoker I think. After 35 years it's going to take a little time to get over all that junk that cigs did to me. I have read that the physical cravings are over in 7 days or whatever and after that it's all in our heads. In our heads, brains whatever. That's still a pretty powerful place no? I'm still making a work related/creative comeback and since what's in my head is all I have as far as that goes, it's pretty important to me. :)

So to answer your question...are these making it harder to quit? No, quite the opposite for me. I'm not drawing the crave out but I'm not letting it get the better of me anymore either. And I don't see WTA as an additive per say, (maybe you do I dunno), just a different form. I wouldn't recommend WTA juice to anyone who is not having a problem either or hasn't tried upping the nic for a bit or tried whatever else gets recommended.

Sounds like you're much like me... first vape and dropped da 'bakky? BUT, there are all too many that do not have the 'luxury' to take the easy off ramp off of 'bakky road!

Keep in mind that vaping is a harm reduction alternative. I really don't care what any vaper needs to shed burnin' 'bakky. If there's sumpin' out dere to wean 'em off cigs, then encourage it. Please, don't be judgmental!!!

The question for those of us who use WTA is "who says nicotine is the only thing we should leave behind when we take out the tobacco from the vape" ?

The FDA? But they aren't our friends. Same with pretty much everybody else.

I find that nicotine alone does not calm me down like a cigarette does. So I'm back to combustibles if I can't get WTA juice.

OK, maybe I twitched my 'hair trigger'! My bad..

It's just that some folk are all too quick to point (unloaded) fingers. Do some ECF searches for the items of your curiosity and it'll be like trying to take a sip of water from a fire hose! Plus, ya never know; you just might be able to help a struggling vaper as a result...

Still, vaping is just an alternative to smoking, not a cessation product.

Vaping is not advertised as a cessation product because of legal issues. Everyone is free to use it the way they see fit and cessation is certainly possible with it as I've seen done here a few times.

The WTA e-liquid is not copying cigarettes, it's copying tobacco (unburned).

Congratulations on being able to quit burning cigs with just plain nic. :glare: My brain literally does not function without the WTA's left in the liquid. WTA liquid gives me a smaller step away from cigarettes and is easily mixed with my regular nic to eventually wean off of it. It is not for everyone and since you evidently don't feel the "something missing", it is not meant for you.

People that judge WTA liquids harshly are just as bad as the people that look down on vapers in general. There are many ways to quit cigs, this is our way, and you have yours. :2c:
