Even though the 1307 prize is a good idea, I voted NO.

Wow, they convinced me. Keep the contest going, but do it in the current thread. It's still a nod to the original 1307 posts, but acknowledges we've moved on. AND, wouldn't it be cool if the PIF thread became the biggest in the whole forum?. BTW, I went back and read that whole 1st thread. What a clstr__ck! It made me appreciate you even more, Jules. I knew what the rule eventually became, and I was still nervous! It could have taken months to never to figure out that the key was that once someone accepted an offer, it belonged to them no matter what. Bravo for seeing it, Jules!

I voted to start over early this morning, but having the number 1 thread would be kinda cool!!! So I would like to keep it going 
i really think keeping the old thread and doing the contest every 1307 posts is the best of both worlds
not that i ever would have a chance of winning with all you night owls around, lol

Alright, you guys have convinced me. I don't think we will ever catch the Chuck thread but it would be cool to have the second highest post count. And there is credibility in numbers. You have made some very valid arguments that I never would have thought of, especially the time of night I made that post!
We'll just keep it running and every 1307 post will win something. It may not always be a kit but it will always be something cool!
I also agree... keep going up in the same thread... "1307" is the magic number, 1307,2614, 3921, 5228 ect....
and every 1000 posts, give a lil prize away like a bottle of juice or an atty for posts 2307, 3307,4307 5307, ect...
My vote is to keep this thread and watch it grow into a MONSTER!!!
If a member or supplier will donate it then we can have the every 1000 post thing. But I can't supply all of the contests. If I did you all would be sending me care packages,lol
