Quad coil of 28awg wrapped 8 times each.
Great vapor and nice flavor but a little too hot for my liking.

Diamond coil. Real PITA to set up. Tried once and didn't really like it. Might be it wasn't set up really properly.

Tri-co or pyramid coil. Nice vapor and flavor but i got lazy and stopped winding those coils after a few times :(

Right now i am just using the basic dual coil setup on my helios. Easy to coil and wick and metering at 0.8ohms so my battery is not taxed too quickly even with vtc4.

And for all drippers, don't drip and drive or you'd end up like the guy below. vape on and vape safe.

Nice! I'll love to try a quad coil someday! I'm trying to try some new badass coil no one has attempted before. Maybe I'll do 5 coils in 1 single wire and call it "the Audi". :D

The "FINE" place
anybody knows if i could hit 1-1.2ohms with 30 gauge kanthal?

Yep you could easily get 1.0-1.2ohms with 30 gauge. I think you'd need 5-6wraps around a 1.4mm diameter mini screwdriver.

But please make sure if you are to start making your own coils, get a multimeter at least to measure the resistance and use proper batteries.

Heh. Infinity build on a kayfun

Vapes like a champ, although I ended up with a pretty high resistance (1.8 ohms) since it's a single coil rather than parallel dual coils, which I'm gonna do next time. It's essentially a single microcoil that's bent/folded into half.

The other build I did was a adaptation of rip tripper's diamond coil. Personally for me, the diamond coil on my trident v2 dripper was the best build I've tried for a dripper: insane vapor production and flavor, and the airflow was a lot smoother. Adapted the shape and airflow position for the kayfun, but had to change it to dual parallel coils and different wicking

Halfway wicked: there's a skinny wick dedicated to each sub-coil

Again, great vape, although just not worth the effort IMO.
