vsummer, funky, or anyone whose order shipped to USA on or around 12/10/2012, is anyone getting any other tracking result besides the cryptic "origin post is preparing shipment"?

Mine was shipped on Dec 24. I am in the origin post preparing shipment state as well. I assume that you will get yours before mine arrives, but I'll be updating here for you and any lurkers. I will begin stalking my postman in about a week.

Mine shipped 12/10/12 and yesterday it finally showed movement beyond "point of origin". It went first to a NY sort facility, and now sits in a PA sort facility. It's working it's way to Michigan! YEAH! Unfortunately (well, in that sense anyway) I am currently on Oahu.
20 days and still not home, so it's safe to say that 3 weeks is not an unusual ship time to the USA.

This vape thing is kinda sick. Here I sit in paradise, and I'm thinking about my mail hold in Michigan which by the time I return will include a couple Caravela's, an AC9 (well, parts to finish), and possibly by then a Caravela test drip tank. I feel so conflicted about wanting to stay here forever, and wanting to get home.

Heh. Waaaaa. I'm in Oahu and can't get to my new Caravela and test drip tank. You poor poor b@stard. Now, hurry back to Michigan and test that drip tank so Pedro can start production.

Thanks for the whaaaaambulance. I'll get to it asap, duty calls. With a name like CanOSpam, you'd be popular here in Oahu. It's considered traditional cuisine.

Thanks DSpin!
Yes, Pedro was very kind to consider me. I had mentioned long before that I am 100% dripper, and how inconvenient it is when in the car. That Pedro has the memory of an elephant. When he asked me, I was of course very honored to test it. It looks like the perfect solution to my style of vaping. I'm still going to try the AC9 and the Caravela genesis when it becomes available. If flavor is improved, I could be converted but for now, it's dripping all the time. I haven't given up on the idea of the Gryphon yet either, but I'm hoping the DT is the answer to my drip problems.

How long do I wait before I start to worry? It was shipped 12/11 and no movement from Lisbon since. I know some others have gotten through, so just wondering how long until I need to contact Pedro?

I think mine was shipped around that time, it got here on thursday. I never got any tracking updates until the day it arrived. I would be patient it should be there soon enough.

Where can I find info on the Caravela Genesis that will be coming out? Also, what will Pedro do when done with the 999 Caravelas, a different model or stop?

If you sign up for the forum, there are updates there. In English. If I recall, he hasn't made up his mind as to what he will work on next. The info on the tank is there as well.

A Damascus steel version is already in the works, and there is a strong probability that a very limited run of sterling silver ones will be made as well. These will be much more expensive, so probably few will be made. I have been requesting a titanium model with golf plated accent pieces, that I hope comes to fruition. I don't believe gold plating adds a lot of cost, not sure about titanium. After that, who knows? I think there is a possibility of a Caravela with electronics, but not visible. Like maybe a mechanical dial to set voltage or whatever, like the Twist. I think Pedro is enjoying making these, and despite the 1000 limit on the originals, I see other possibilities.
