This is for Blu in case she doesn't see my post on the caravela forums...

Ok, I took all the measurements and drew up some to-scale 3D CADs of the basic construction of the Caravela button. I didn't take the time to include the threads, as they're irrelevant to what I'm trying to show here.
Anyways, what I found was that you can fit magnets with of OD < 11mm and an ID > 5.9mm! So the ones that Blu linked SHOULD fit. I double checked and the OD of the Zenesis magnets is too large, so they will not fit.

I just saw on the other forum. Thanks for measuring all that.
Did you happen to measure the depth, where your little Z-axis line is?
I wonder how many magnets would fit .... it seems pretty shallow to me.
Thanks for doing all this! :toast:

Guess I'll find out ... I just ordered 30 magnets. LOL

There's 5.6mm of room to fit magnets.

im really starting to get bothered by this whole ordeal... i dont like being ignored and treated unfairly

Have you pm'd Pedro lately, as I recall it was shipped or was suppose to be in NY around time of Hurricane. That was a recipe for getting lost.

Far as Pedro ignoring you or treating you unfairly, he has always been praised by one and all for going above and beyond taking care of all his customers.

How is it that he is treating you unfairly, I'm sure we all would like to know.

Keep trying to reach Pedro, but in the mean time, I'll do my best get in touch with him on your behalf. I'm really sorry to hear that you're situation still hasn't been rectified.
