Batt life depends on application, when I use genisis attys, I blow through them, but I do chain vape, use 28 and 30g wire and switch out around 3.9 - thats when I can tell performance is dropping.
Doesnt matter to me though, I love the 18350 size along with the 18500 tube and keep at least 8 of each rotating them.
Ack! Dspin, didn't you tell me awhile a go that you thought the Panasonic's were better than the IMR? I just ordered 8 of the CGR18650CH because I thought I remembered you telling me that. Ah well, they're 2250mah, so they should do as well as the 2000mah AW IMR's for battery life anyway.
Amazon was burning the last of their stock. Apparently, Panasonic is getting out of the battery biz. 4 for $24. They're shown as "out of stock" but I'll link to the page in case they get more in.

Moueix - I am going to try a couple 1.5 ohm or 1.8 ohm 306s with "bare" batteries. If they work for me, I would like to go back to the 18350 size.
The size of the Vela really compliments that size tube .... 18500 at the most.
I put it on my 18650, and it looked sort of lost.
Have you tried the LR atty's yet Blu? I've got a pile of Cisco Aero 1.5's that'll see no love.
Not yet ... almost burned my Cara up the other day with my 2.0 on. it was resting and the button was getting pushed without me knowing it. LOL The whole thing got HOT!
So I put my 2.5 on it. I think the 2.0 is ok, just giving it a rest. LOL
No I didn't - sorry M. I always say MNKE IMR for 18650 w/the AW IMR 1600 as 2nd choice. Its actually better than the AW IMr 2200. IMR's - the best for all mechanical PV's. Especially when using LR RBAs.
For 18350 and 18490 I use AW IMRs

Whew! Glad you didn't hurt your precious! I wonder if something like a shortstop would prevent that. Probably not though, it gets tripped by overamping, not heat. Hmmm....
The 18650 with the Latina on is too heavy to stand on the button without the lock. I wonder if those terrific magnets will solve that? We'll see. Yeoman's duty on that one Blu. Does anybody say that anymore??
Moueix - someone said they had a N50 magnet with 2 N35s in their button and it stood fine. Their N50 was thincker than ours, so I am really hoping 3 or 4 N50s will do the trick.
I have 4 N35s in each, and the buttons are pretty light, push wise. No WAY could it stand. I do use heavy Trap tanks on mine also, so that doesn't help anything.
