That has to be the best looking Luna i have seen.I have a green one that i like,but this one has more of a natural look which is my favorite type of wood.Since it appears to have a tiny bit of purple right above the squonk hole in that last pic,i would guess that is probably what they would consider it is purple,whatever they call it,it is beautiful.
I just LOVE these colors! I may need to go shopping again soon but I better check my stash first. I’ve been known to buy two or more of something forgetting I already bought one lol

Thanks! To be honest, when I opened the box, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. It didn’t look like any Luna I’ve seen before. I know they’re all unique but I’ve never seen one that was predominantly natural. But by the end of the day, it dawned on me how unique this piece was that Asmodus sent me. I realized it was actually a glorious piece. Haha. I think the type of wood is also unique. It looks like teak- something with tight grain. And then when I saw that it was one of Asmodus’s show pieces that they photographed for their page, a piece of my mind was blown.
How I got it was a stroke of luck and generosity on Asmodus’s part. I was ordering a Luna on their page. At the time, Red was an option. But a few days later, Asmodus called me and said Red was actually sold out and the mosaics were available. I told the guy I didn’t really like the mosaics and was there any other option - I would take ANY option as long as it was a solid color and not a mosaic. He tells me to hold on, then he actually goes to their shelves and finds me this. He says it’s ‘kind of brown with stripes’. I thought it sounded weird but I said I would take it because I wouldn’t have placed the order if the options were only mosaics. Also I think at that time, Lunas were still $40 and I wouldn’t have paid that much for a mosaic. So that’s the long tale of how this unique creature showed up in my mailbox.
As of now, besides Asmodus, I only have the Yihi SL in mixed stabwood. Honestly, it would be hard for me to get a VA knowing that for the same money, I could get three or four spectacular Asmodus pieces. Now if someone were to gift me a VA, I certainly wouldn’t turn it down. Haha.

There really is no question the construction, finish and chips they use are superior to Asmodus mods. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love my Asmodus mods or that they’re not fantastic mods because they are. I’ve got at least one (usually 3-5) of almost every stabwood mod they’ve made!! It’s just that the VA is on the next level. Probably the only thing better would be a custom mod from the Philippines or Malaysia. But those mods START at around $600-800 and upwards of several thousands. And no I don’t have any lol!!! Not that I haven’t been tempted to mortgage my house

It’s a great fall afternoon to watch football and vape a numbered Vicious Ant Knight with an Ephro Kelpie. It runs on a premium Yihi SX550J chip.

I don’t know why VA stays with the single 18650s. It’s the same with the Duke IIs. I wish they would use a 21700 or even a 20700. I mean I know it’s not a huge difference in run time but it would be nice to have whatever the difference is. And it’s not like it’s that much larger that it would throw off the form or look of the mods. Oh well. At least I’ve got a million 18650s at this point.

I may be talking myself into buying one lol! God I’m such an addict! Good thing I don’t drink often or do drugs id be on the streets!! Although I may end up on the streets with just my stabwood mods if I’m not careful lol

Did u check out the white and blue one? Not sure I’d want to spend that on mostly resin. I’ll email Phil and see if he’ll take something off. He’s been great especially with shipping. Of course I alone probably keep him employed for the past 2 years lmao!!
I was just looking at them and noticed the 510 area is sunk down like on the original Thor. I was told it was to give it a more “sleek” appearance. It makes it impossible to adjust the bottom air flow ring. But that’s not a big deal either set it prior or use a top af atty. I’ll be interested to see how it looks when you post a photo of it.
