That’s a great story!! And wow did you make out! Whatever you do hang on to that mod no matter how much I offer you !! I don’t really like the mosaics either. Just not my “thing”.

Have you ever seen a VA in person? Or used one? I felt the same way about the price of them until I finally decided to splurge on one.

There really is no question the construction, finish and chips they use are superior to Asmodus mods. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love my Asmodus mods or that they’re not fantastic mods because they are. I’ve got at least one (usually 3-5) of almost every stabwood mod they’ve made!! It’s just that the VA is on the next level. Probably the only thing better would be a custom mod from the Philippines or Malaysia. But those mods START at around $600-800 and upwards of several thousands. And no I don’t have any lol!!! Not that I haven’t been tempted to mortgage my house ! There are several examples on the Stabwood thread at VU. Gorgeous mods.

Regardless of make stabwood mods are just so beautiful! I would be a lot “richer” if I had never seen them lol!! I blame ECF for my downfall!!!

Here’s a picture of my collection from a couple of months ago. Since then I added another Yihi SL, Minikin 21700 and the LV Centaurus. I’m hoping that Asmodus comes out with a new design soon. I’m “jonesing” to buy more stabwood- that I can afford. it’s become an addiction lol!!!

Oh, I don’t doubt that a VA is a thing of beauty of the highest order. I’m a semi-retired photographer. I always saw cameras as functional art. Like a VA mod - the curves, the ergonomics, the choice of materials, metals, wood, acrylic. It elevates the entire vaping experience. You notice things you didn’t before- the taste of your juice really coming through, the sunny day, the plants you just planted already budding, the breeze just now, or the rainy day and the sound of the raindrops. And then the moments in between all this when you look down at your mod and say ‘damn, I sure did get a fine piece’. Haha. I just never find myself having the right amount of disposable cash at hand. But if I did, I would peruse the VA site for days for sure! Haha.

your collection is breathtaking by the way. I would name that table ‘Camelot’. Because each piece is something of the highest virtue. Haha.

Thanks. That was almost a mortgage payment !!!! Fortunately I paid my mortgage off early otherwise I wouldn’t have many stabwoods and that would be sad !!

Another one of my purple Pumpers. I think this could have easily been a 1 of 1 but I received it from Asmodus as a generic Pumper with a generic Pumper price. Yaye Asmodus!

Did u check out the white and blue one? Not sure I’d want to spend that on mostly resin. I’ll email Phil and see if he’ll take something off. He’s been great especially with shipping. Of course I alone probably keep him employed for the past 2 years lmao!!

I was just looking at them and noticed the 510 area is sunk down like on the original Thor. I was told it was to give it a more “sleek” appearance. It makes it impossible to adjust the bottom air flow ring. But that’s not a big deal either set it prior or use a top af atty. I’ll be interested to see how it looks when you post a photo of it.

I want to see how the mod looks with an atty on it 1st so I’m looking forward to seeing yours when you get it.

I did just see that VA just put out a Duke II 21700. They must’ve heard me complaining lol!! I bought two of the 18650s !! Maybe I’ll put one on the classies or Vape Trader. Would love a 21700. That’s what they should’ve introduced in the 1st plaice imo. Oh well, there’s ALWAYS something new coming. Hopefully Asmodus comes out with some new stabwood. It’s been awhile since the Thor II came out. Maybe for the holidays (fingers crossed!)

Isn’t the Pumper such a pleasure to use? One or two pumps gives you like three pulls. It’s brilliant! I use them much more than my Lunas. I also have three Topsides. I used to use those a lot that was, until I got my Pumpers. You’re right, the Pumpers have great hand feel and they’re not cold like metal squonkers. I also have one Lost Vape Therion 75c Squonker. It looks nice but I use that the least.

If I had your collection I would have every one built and ready to go and just have them all around the house wherever I spend more than five minutes. Haha.

Ultroner Aether stabwood squonk. I’ve had this for probably 6 months and only now just checked it out.

It’s really small and light. It holds 7ml of juice. The stabwood quality is very nice and has a very smooth well polished finish.

No it was definitely from overseas but not the UK stabwood store. I’m pretty sure it was a Chinese site which I don’t normally buy stabwood from but took a chance since I couldn’t find it anywhere else.

I can go through my invoices if you want to know which store.

nice! Their attention to detail is unreal - even the small adjustment buttons are acrylic. And I like the etched artwork in the metal. Very nice indeed!

Was it 3avape? I see they carried it but it’s already sold out. Did you get it pre-lockdown? I’m wondering how shipping from China has been affected.
