I’m tempted to purchase another stabwood from Vicious Ant since they are a rare beauty to me. The cost is a concern especially if bought from the British site. They are declaring value or something like that so a fee for customs is now part of the shipping.

I never had to deal with that previously. The packages they mail the mods in don’t mention the item so I’m not sure why they are following customs requirements (?) now.

im not even sure how much it would add on to the cost.

For now I’ll just keep checking the seller sites.

My very first stabwood was an Asmodus Minikin 2 Kodama. It came with a matte or somewhat dull finish. It was the first stabwood that I micro polished and put 5 or so layers of polyurethane on it to bring a bright shiny finish on it.

Directions for micro polishing stabwood mods is in the first few pages of this thread.

And it’s still nice and shiny!

It’s always a tough decision when it comes to which stabwoods to put in the daily rotation….. I think I’ll go for the green Asmodus Pumper 18650 and Asmodus Bunker RDA. Or no maybe the red Asmodus Luna

I think people are under the impression that stabwood mods are too expensive to purchase. But for a hobbyist which vaping has become for me then a bit extra $ to a lot extra $ is subjective. I fell in love with the uniqueness and variety of colors and patterns of stabwood the moment I saw one! Even the feel of them is wonderful because it’s wood with all its warmthness, beauty and imperfections.

Many awesome Stabwood mods can be had for under $100 at the UK stabwood store and from the classifieds.

PM me if you want a list of new stabwood mods that are near or under $100!

Everyone needs a hobby! Just wish mine wasn’t so expensive at times though lol!

Gorgeous day in Boston! Sitting in my garden with one of favorite stabwood mods!

Asmodus Luna Stabwood squonker. I like revisiting some of my past devices and gear then wonder why I haven’t been using them! I don’t normally vape MTL except every once I awhile.

Been awhile since I've browsed this thread, nice to see all the wonderful wood ! Just finished dinner and am squonking on this:

It's a Lil' Pinch made by Pdib here on this forum many years ago. It's holding up pretty good for a 6+ year old Stabwood.

I hope your dinner was nice:thumb:
But mainly that's an absolutely gorgeous stabwood mod:)

I got my first "official" stabwoods. I found a steal of a deal on Sigelei SnowWolf 218's and they turned out to be a great purchase!

    Oh those are nice!

if your someone who’s looking into buying a stabwood mod then the classifieds are the best place to go. Just follow all of the instructions and keep safety in mind.

I bet you there’s hundreds of unused stabwoods just waiting to be let loose!

For the most part, stabwoods are out of my wheelhouse in terms of pricing vs. aesthetic. The SnowWolfs I found were $35 a piece I believe which I simply couldn't pass up. For the most part, I'm more about functionality and longevity than appearance.

I will keep this in mind though, thank you!

seems all the naysayers about stabwood just didn’t ring true!

It’s a beautiful mods thanks so much for sharing it. I would love it if people would post pics of their very first owned stabwoods or regular mods here for all too see! I’m sure there’s some great history to be had.

It was just a general statement in case anybody was looking at this thread and thinking they can’t be had for more “decent” money.
