I just saw the thread the other day, too, because it has now been Officially Closed... (after close to 2 yrs.) LOL!!
My entry was my 1st (and LAST) attempt at Text-to-Speech animation, and just squeaked in under the wire with the very last entry!!

It actually came in 8th out of 34 entries, and they were giving away 15 prizes.... so I guess I was in the middle of the pack... with some very stiff competition.
I had to do it in one take because the 'pirated' software I was using didn't have the Edit feature... which I didn't find out until the last minute...

I remember that SK. I liked it. I really did. Thought it should have done better than it did but I also remember thinking there was some BS involved with a few of the entries. Ah yeah, like sending e-mails to people to go vote for particular ones.
Let me clarify........it was NOT SK that did that.

That's always been the point, to have the thread. The game started out as just a way to kick-start the thread, the thread was never meant to be purely a contest.
We'll see how it goes, and if people stop posting pics I'll decide about either abandoning it or encouraging lasting participation. (The idea of a small, recurring monthly prize comes to mind).
