Monthly Contest - picture thread

General Rules (applicable to all contests in this thread)

1. The contest is open to any and all members of ECF.
2. There is no Rule #2.
3. Any pictures submitted must have been taken by, and/or of, you and you must have the legal right to post them.*¹ By posting a picture in this thread you affirm that it adheres to this rule.
4. Mom and Pop are not responsible for the content of pictures posted here, but may remove any and all pictures determined to be slanderous, libelous, inflammatory, depicting or promoting illegal behaviour, or otherwise offensive and/or inappropriate.*²
5. There is a limit of five entries per person per contest. You may post more pictures, but only the first five will be eligible.
6. Any additions or exclusions for a specific contest will be noted in the first post of that contest, and will become null and void at the end of that contest.
7. The method of determining the winner will change each month. It will not involve the number of likes a picture gets or random.org. It may or may not be mentioned in the rule post for the contest, but it will be documented if possible.

9. Gift certificate/store credit prizes will be applied to the winner's account at Mom & Pop Vapor Shop.*³
10. These rules may be amended if the need arises.

* Notes:
Note 1:

• Pictures not meeting this criteria may or may not be left on the thread, but they will not be eligible for the contest.

Note 2:

• "Slanderous" and "libelous" have legal definitions--that does not always mean they are sensible definitions.
• What is considered "inflammatory" is based on cultural sensitivity--just because you are offended by a picture does not mean the picture is "offensive;" just because you are not offended by a picture does not mean the picture is not "offensive."
• "Illegal activity" varies from place to place, but obvious cases will not be tolerated. Vaping in front of a "no smoking" sign may be illegal in some places but not others, but vaping in front of a "no vaping" sign will not be allowed on this thread.

Note 3:

• You do not need to have an account to enter, but you will need to create one to claim a gift certificate/store credit prize.
• You are free to delete the account once you have redeemed the prize, if you so desire.
• The email address required for account creation is only used for shipment notification purposes--Mom and Pop Vapor Shop does not maintain a "newsletter" or advertise via email in any way.

April Contest

This month's contest is VAPRIL FOOLS! Post a picture of you, or a friend, or you and your friends, vaping while being silly. Make funny faces, wear funny clothes. Stand on your head. Stand on your friend's head (but in an explicitly safe, legal and family-friendly manner).

This month's prize will be a $20 gift certificate.


Rules for the April 2013 contest (in addition to the General Rules):

2. Someone in the picture must be actively vaping.
3. The elements required by the contest cannot be added via photo-editing. For example, a picture of you vaping with a clown wig photoshopped on your head will not be eligible. Appreciated, but not eligible. Photo-editing non-required elements is perfectly acceptable.
4. If a photo meets the criteria to be posted by more than one person, only one may post it.
