I also hate dripping through the DT. It's definitely quite the concept, though really simple when you think about it. It's a wonder it hadn't been done prior to this. Well, I guess we had something close with that thing that kind of looks like an elbow that you stick your bottle upsidedown in, I forget it's name. But that apparently doesn't work too well, and is .... ugly. Now if they could just figure out a smaller design that's that pretty... :2cool:

Edit: The thing I'm thinking of is a top-feeder, actually. Ah well. I stand by my sentiments! lol

Dod - drip on demand.

I'm sorry it looks like "something" used by people for smoking "green"

Neat concept, bad design IMO

I love minimalism as well :

Newest member of the family: Provari V1 which I picked up for a fantastic price in the classifieds! What's that monstrosity that sits atop it you ask? It's the Surge Tank! It basically turns any mod into a bottom feeder, all mechanical and surprisingly very lightweight. Now be sure to keep an eye out for it in the classifieds in the coming week, as with most impulse purchases I make I get bored with them very quickly :D

Hoo, boy that surge is massive! I guess igetcha69 just has gigantic hands. Really nice design though

I don't understand why most VV mods use stacked batteries instead of a buck booster Provari style - It's not so much that I'm worried about stacking batteries, more that it's such a PITA to keep track of battery pairs and constantly having to recharge, etc. Hopefully we'll see a single battery VV bottom feeding device some day, in the mean time I've got my surge tank on the Provari :)

But yes RSMs are absolutely gorgeous, and I'd love to have one for use around the house but a bit too pricey IMO.

Kinda. It's a metal body over a fiber reinforced plastic frame. It's really solid

Been looking long and hard at that VMod XL ... glad to hear you are liking it. Hmm .... HMMM .....

BTW - the one at Happy Vapor is the VMod XL a la Carte (no battery or battery charger). For the same price at Vapage, you get all the goodies plus they have a 20% off coupon going right now so that makes it $80!

even at $130 I would still say this a great deal. Going from a tube mod with cartos to this really changes the game. If you are good with lr atties and prefer to drip, it's a no brainer. It's the same vape and awesome flavor you get from dripping without a drop anywhere but in the atty. No muss no fuss no leaks... Ever!

Kick is great little thing for tube mods and what it does but I'm convinced that the regulator Brian uses is better for few reasons.
With Kick you're limited to 10w whereas the regulator in RSM can go up to 25w which is very useful when using dual or more coils(the most Kick can deliver is 5w to each coil on dual coils). Kick is great for LR atties but with SR or even HR atties it requires significant boost of voltage which lowers the battery runtime quite a alot. It'll also add $20 more to the cost while not much space saving.

There's also new RSM bottom feeder that uses singe 3.7v 18650(like Reo) for $125.
Kick can be used in that I guess...

I use the Vapage Hybrid attys too in my Grand and VMod Xl, but they are not cheap. My friend has been using the Canvape bridgeless LR's in his VMod XL and seems to be quite content with them.

Ahh ... another lesson in that if you wait long enough, someone will provide the answer you have been waiting to post the question on (ie - bridgeless atties in the VMod XL).

Wasn't a big fan of the Kick either, had it for a day and it was on the classifieds the next day. The 10W limit is way to low indeed, currently I'm vaping at 12W (2.5ohm @ 5.5V) and loving every second of it!

I've had my fair share of Reos, more than I'd like to publicly admit, but I think if ever I get the bottom feeder bug again it'll be an RSM just to change things up a little :)
