I realize everyone on the planet hasn't had the SI 555 but I am trying to get that delicious juice in my DIY cabinet.

I have all TFA flavors.

I have 555 but it isn't tasting like the "real" thing even with caramel and ethyl malto and vanilla in with it.

I just got

Marshmallow
Graham Cracker
Molasses
Coconut
Whip Cream
Caramel Candy
Acetyl Pyrazine

Have a variety of vanillas, nuts, fruits, tobaccos already on hand. Hoping I have whatever is suggested.

Any thoughts here on how to up the ante on the 555?

How much Acetyl Pyrazine should you put in 5 ml of juice?

Hope someone can help.

Oh yeah, also, does anyone know if the AP has to steep to taste good?

I have been making tobacco bases and then adding to them once they have steeped so I was planning on adding the AP and trying it right away.

I would use one drop per 5mls of AP. Really good nutty flavor. If you mix from scratch, I would use Dark Vapure as a base flavor adding the AP or Peanut Butter, Caramel, Vanilla, etc. If you use the 555 as a base flavor, I would just use the AP and see how it is before adding anything else to it. You could also try Black & Mild as a base flavor. Good luck!

Thanks, I was trying to use TFA 555 as the basic ingredient since that is my goal of having a good 555.

I have been adding caramel, ethyl malto and a bit of Tobacco Absolute to my 555 and letting it steep but it just doesn't have that rich yummy flavor I would like to achieve. I put some nut in there, I'd have to look up which one] but it didn't give me that rich yummy flavor. I heard about AP and thought I would give it a try.

Looks like you've got all the fixins to make a good 555. I'm vaping the last of my steeped 30mls right now. I also add TA to the mix just a drop per 10mls. I suggest you try eliminating the EM and Caramel Just add the AP & TA and see how you like it. You can always add more caramel to the recipe. I let my 30ml bottle steep for a month but I'm going through my 3 ADVs' quicker than I steep them. Looks like I'm gonna have to go to 60mls. I just love properly steeped 555, Black Honey and double RY4.

I too love the SI 555. It is my all time favorite vape. I have been trying to come up with something similar as well, and have had little luck.
Right now I am trying a mix of asian ry4 at 8%, and TFA 555 at 5% with 1% of em added. This is a very good vape, but not the SI 555 flavor I was looking for. The em washed too much of the 555 out. If I hit on something close, I will let you know!

Definitely let me know Bill!

Remember that there's EM in with the TA dilution. I find that enough for 555. To my mind 555 is about the nutty flavor where RY4 is about vanilla and caramel. You can just use the bases and a minute amount of TA will keep the tobacco flavor going and the AP will keep the nutty flavor.

Thanks boomerdude. I will give the TA a try when I can pick some up. The SI 555 is an interesting mix of flavors. It has a smooth but gritty bite to it. The reason I tried the asian ry4 was for the " bite" part of it. ( if that makes any sense lol) . My wife likes the double ry4 as her main vape which really has that caramel/vanilla flavor. When I tried the asian ry4, it was different. It seemed to have a stronger tone, its hard to describe, but it reminded me of the bite in the si 555.

I have to say, this dyi is a blast. When you consider all of the variables of the different possible flavor combinations, the different possible amounts of each flavor and then you add in the impact of steeping time, wow there is no end to the possibilities!

I tried adding nut flavor to the mix and it didn't do a darn thing for the nuttiness. I just tried adding a bit of marshmallow and honey to my original 555 base mix. I'll try it in a day or two to see what that does for it:)

Yeah, I've not been all that impressed with the various nut flavors I've tried. Not very nutty, some are peppery (my usual complaint with so many flavors it seems). I've had better luck with Peanut Butter flavor than various nut flavors. You can also try cutting Coffee flavor way down with PG or PG/VG or whatever you use, then add just a touch. It does not exactly add "nuttiness" but the little bit of "roast" note can improve some mixes.

Yeah, I hear you, Robert. I think hazelnut is pretty good but black walnut and some of the others don't do much flavorwise.
