Thanks, that helped a lot. I'm going to take off the 555 DK. Corny Corn chip flavor is defiantly *not* what I'm going for.

If you don't like the Corney cornchip or nutty taste then AP may not be for you. Or is could simply be that your sampling products with just to much AP added. AP has been described as nutty when added in small amounts (1% or less). It has been discribed as corney, pop corney, burnt corn when added at 3% or more. I myself am a big fan of AP in small amounts and find it goes very well with hagden T5 (555) 1% sweetner and FA 1% vapor wizard. It infact is my all day vape. The sweetner and vapor wizard is optional but tends to blend and smooth the flavors. Most importantly you need to let it steep for 2 weeks. Most tobacco mixes need to be steep unlike the fruits and sweets mixes.

I am curious to know if any of you have experimented with the SM Captain Black flavor. I just got some a few days ago and haven't the slightest idea where to start with it.

I happen to love AP, and I use it in small amounts in a lot of my tobacco mixes. My boyfriend really likes the slight almost saltiness of it. Some people hate it. I don't think an RY4 is any good without it. Any tobacco mix with caramel notes benefits from it, IMO.

Black Honey Tob. is good, but the person who mixed it at 10% definitely mixed too high on that one. Any higher than 7 or 8% makes it way too floral for my taste. For a grassy note, I add a drop or two of tob absolute to the mix.

I like to experiment with adding things like molasses, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, different nuts, chocolate, malted milk (this is yummy with English tob, btw), and certain fruits. I am not a huge fan of straight tobacco flavors, so my advice might not help, but its what I got.
