So, I've had a vmod for the past couple of months. I like it, and bottom feeding seems to be the easiest way to get my Bobas fix. That being said, Vapage is awful for customer service. I won't get into that, but bottom line, I'm ready to get a Reo.

Couple quick questions!

1) I plan on vaping 100% VG with my Reo, and am going to pick up a couple hh.357s. Do I need to order the custom atty specifically made for 100% VG, or will a stock, long barrel 1.5 ohm atty be ok for my Bobas?

2) I have a bunch of 18650 panasonic GCRs, will these work, or do I need to pick up some AWs?

I saw a blem grand on Rob's site and clicked the "ask question about the product" and asked if he would be willing to hold it for me for a couple days. He replied, within 30 minutes, saying he doesn't usually hold products, but to email him when I'm ready to buy, and he will find me a blem from the shop. That was the tipping point. Seems like a great guy, who takes pride in his product, and won't refer me to a FAQ page every time I have a question/concern. Looking forward to joining the mob, I am pulling trig on Friday!

1. I've used those with BB. Worked just fine. He does sell one for strictly vg, never tried it. Short barrel atty's and carto's work too if you need a less expensive option. Then if you are into a re-buildable, Rob also offers one.

1, Those might work till you get some AW's, Rob & Reonuaght recommended.

It's hard to find the blemish's. But the pure satisfaction of the vape will over-ride that.

No...you don't NEED to order the rba he sells but I recommend you consider picking up an rba as it will make life much easier as well as lighter on your wallet. I would also recommend grabbing some 1.7 ohm shorty cartos..they do not mute flavor at all and work amazingly with boba and other 100% VG juices. I have a couple of phoenix clones and a reomizer from Rob. I like them...but I find the draw too airy for my liking. The 1.7 shortys are perfect for the reo Imo . The batteries you have will work. However I only use aw imr and it's all I recommend and trust.

Welcome! You've chosen , in my opinion, the best devise there is... and the best supplier! He is definitely a hands-on man.

My first Reo was a " blemished" black grand...but I had to use a magnifying glass to TRY to find it...I eventually did, but it took a while!
My understanding is that the AW IMR's are what Rob recommends, and he doesn't say this just to sell them, cuz he doesn't sell them, he just says that th're the best for his Reos. Someone else will chime in with the partculars on that.

Pics when you get your Reo!

Welcome! I remember when I was buying my Reo I checked the forums on the Reo vs Vmod debate since they were both the popular bottom feeding mods. I can honestly say that the debate is pretty much Apple vs. Windows (Droid, etc...) with the Reo being on the Mac side and everything else on the other. The Reo is small, simple, and probably a little more pricey than some of the other mods out there. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY just like my Macbook I'm using to type this :p

To your question:

1) I've recently ordered Boba's and I love that juice...BUT that thing is literally an atty/carto/whatever killer. I LITERALLY have to swap out my wick or coil on my RBA probably every other day because of the crazy gunk build up. I think it would be a little unwise to use those expensive HH's for the Boba's... however, I have not used the HHs before and I am not sure how tough they are with 100% VG juices. I HIGHLY suggest you get into rebuildable atomizers because it will save you a LOT of money. I only used atomizers for my Grand for like 2 weeks before I was convinced by a lot of people here to get an RBA. I would just start off with the Reomizer that Rob is selling on his site ($35?) or so and probably the same as getting 2 of those HH atomizers. There is definitely a learning curve in the beginning but it only took me like 3 days to really figure out how to build coils. Now it's SUPER EASY and I only get better everyday. I've been using the Reomizer for the last 2 months and it is literally giving me the best vape. Just a couple days ago I couldn't get my Reomizer to work right and went back to my Cisco LR306 for a day and they were just terrible. Once you get into RBAs you won't go back to regular atties. I'm sure Jan (JCOkie) will give a real compelling argument for them because she was pretty much the person that brought me into the world of RBAs.

2) I'm not too sure what batteries you are talking about... I have some Panasonic 18650 batteries, but they were flat tops for my Lavatube and I don't think they would work on the Reo. I've read that it is HIGHLY recommended that you just pick up the AW batteries... lot of discussion on the power output/drainage, etc... that I didn't really understand lol. I'm sure you'll be okay with the batteries you have now as long as they are not flat top high drains.

Have you thought about getting the VV Grand? My only regret is that I wish I had bought the VV instead of the Grand because of all the rave reviews about them. I LOVE my regular Grand, but the battery drop off and obviously the lack of VV makes me want to go back in time and bought that in the first place. It definitely is more pricey, which is why I'm asking if you thought about getting the VV because I have that "itch" to just go and buy one even though I have a Grand. Either way you will NOT regret this decision because Rob is just an awesome guy who is always on the forums if we ever need help. That shows the dedication he has towards his customers because he is very proactive here. Also, the Reo community is just super awesome and helpful if you EVER need help there will always be someone to answer your questions.

1. I had an hh357. Good atty, I still use it to test my DYI juices. I'd still recommend a reomizer or an A7 over it though -- better taste and capacity.

2. Protected batteries won't fit in a Reo. You'll need some IMRs. Doesn't have to be made by AW, I use EFest batteries just fine. But you do need IMR -- they're noticeably shorter than protected ones.

I assume you have Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries? They work almost as well as the AWs and the also have a safe chemistry. But they don't have a button top and that means that you will have to press your fire button harder to reach the positive terminal.

I am using them with welded button tops on the positive end - often sold as EFest 18650 2250mAh.

Aweomse, thanks for all the adivce, guys. First off, I will pick up some AWs just to be safe.

As far as RBAs go, I will probably look into an a7 for starters. I have enough wires/mesh/silica to last me a long time from my other RBAs, so that sounds like a good option. What is everyone using on their grands, other than the a7 or reomizer? I only use bobas in my bottom feeder now, so I don't want to ruin a bunch of $25 atties running it through them. I emailed Rob, I am pulling trig as soon as my paypal transfer goes through. I'll be sure to post pics!

I got a RG blem and really satisfied with it although thats nut a guarantee you'll like yours because I haven't noticed the blem on mine yet. Never heard anyone complain about one though so chances are you'll like yours.

From what I hear, people use all kinds of juice, from 100 PG to 100 VG.

All kinds of atomizers, though I hear some don't like the smoktech ones.
All kinds of cartos. The most popular seems to be smoktech 1.7 shortie. I like Kanger bottom coil
Some even used phoenix clearos
As far as RBAs, I tried and liked A7 and reomizer, and a lot of people swear by ERAs and Hornets. I'd love to try those too, but can't justify spending the money when I'm happy with my cheaper options :)

Congratz! You will get shipping notice in an email from PayPal. It might go to your spam, so look there if you don't see it in a couple of days. You will have tracking. You need to watch for it, it comes with signature required for delivery!

Congrats! The 1.7 shorties kick a s s on a REO. Like others have said, it's a good idea to order a couple of extra springs and bottles. I have never needed mine but good to have.

You are going to love your REO.

Is RTD down for anyone else? Im on my ridiculous work computer, so that could be the cause!

edit: http://www.reosmods.com/components/...ge/product/Reo_Grand_Black__50edb76fc5537.jpg I will be looking at this pic from resmods a lot the next few days!

Until you see it in person and hold it, you have no idea how beast they actually are. As for "blemished" both of mine are "blemished" but I don't see anything on either of them that I would consider a blemish.

I know how much it sux waiting for a REO to come in the mail...

All of us, except Rob have felt your pain at least once.

RTD does seem to be down. You can take a look at discountvapers, or vaporbank for the batteries. Also, when I was placing my first order, lots of people urged me to get a spare hotspring for my reo. I did. Never melted my spring yet, but I feel safer knowing that I have a spare.
