Ive been having a very frustrating time trying to find a good ecig from a reliable vendor. i tried the blu cig and it just isnt for me. im looking for a thicker stronger hit. i have been considering an e-go but am starting to find some bad reviews now. i want an easy to use, strong hitting, long battery lasting and all around great e-cig. definitley looking for some type of "starter kit" haha if i could get some advice that would be fantastic. thanks in advance

I would check out an ego starter kit from madvapes.com - I bought a blu disposable and a thicker, stronger hit is exactly what I was after - and what I got.

they sent me my eGo two weeks ago and I've been analog free since. Also, Juices consisting primarily of PG seem to provide a better throat hit. good luck!

Bottom line, if you aren't feeling it from that one, it is time to get away from the PVs that look like a cigarette. The gogo and echo are the newest things and are getting a lot of attention. I just got an echo because I was tired of having to push buttons and wade through the multitude of options. The echo is simple, strong and delivers great vapor.

I, too went with ego. Have also read 'bad stuff' but am totally satisfied. Got ego-t 1000 mah and it lasts a whole day, and by whole day, I am retired and chain vape (a good 12 hrs). The 510 compatibilty was what sold me. I have tried cartomizers, attomizers and the ego-t type a. Have found plus and minus to all 3....Find the mods interesting, but am hoping this is not a permanent habit (as analogs were bound to be). Just get a BIG battery and experiment. Cartomizers are SO cheap...

Sorry to say it but an eGo starter kit with standard resistance atomizers will not provide a stronger hit.
Now the eGo battery can provide a very nice vaping experience, provided that you match it up with an atomizer/cartomizer that meets your specific needs.
Probably the most suggested are 2ohm LR Boge cartomizers, and 1.7ohm resurectors.

In my opinion, you should shy away from the TYPE A ego Tanks...they are fussy. Can't comment on the newest B version. I liked them at first...until I tried something else. It becomes irritating messing with wicks. I'd recommend doing your homework and reading the specific threads relating to the product your interested in.

i opted for the eGo Mega Dual Coil kit because the cartomizers on it hold a lot of liquid. I like them, but have also since ordered some smaller cartomizers to sample juice with. committing a $2.79 cartomizer everytime i want to try a juice is for the birds.

Not to mention the couple milliliters of e-liquid!

You can buy a decent atomizer for a few bucks, then drip flavors you're trying out directly on the coil. Atomizers are designed to be cleaned repeatedly. You can find instructions on how to clean them here via the search function. I've used one of my atomizers to sample somewhere around 40 different flavors, and it still behaves like new after cleaning.

I've tried both A and B, and they're both awfully persnicketty. Many people, including me, had insurmountable problems with them leaking. Definitely not for beginners. Stick with good cartomizers, like Boges, to start.

SLB Riva 510 Manual Switch Battery

Boge (Stainless) 510 2.0 LR Cartomizer 5 Pack With FREE 5ml Bottle Of Eliquid

You'd just need a charger, drip tip and some juice. Lots of different ways to go...starters suck you can get better for cheaper. Lots of selections but can shop around for better prices. Good luck

okay so if i got the ego kit with those boge carts, some good eliquid, and that 510 manual switch battery that would be a good place to start? i really appreciate all the help. super confusing when your new to this...

With regards to finding a basic starter kit, you will find many "Branded" starter kits that are just 510's dressed up in a fancy box. Luci is one of the more popular brands. They fit 510 atomizers and chargers for the batteries. Some have ego's branded as well. As far as Blu, I like that they have started selling their disposables at the gas station. I buy one from time to time just to say thanks for pushing vaping into the mainstream. Check out Dr. Vapor on youtube. He's got some great videos on there that range from vaping 101 to modding a dremel tool.
I hope you find what you are looking for. Best of luck to you

All of the vendors I've purchased from have been excellent...one in perticular is a standout, Cignot is fantastic, Vicki will answer your email questions almost instantly, she ships rediculiously fast and her pricing is very very competitive.
She has the new Ego-C in stock, They've upgraded this model, the atomizers have no filler material so it's a very safe system.
When you get your first dry burnt hit of polyester fill material using a cartomizer you'll understand the benefits of the Ego-c attie system.
With a few tips from the gang here you'll have the ego down to a science in no time, yes there's the occational minor leak, ive got them down to almost never...a small price to pay for what I consider one of the safer systems out there.
