I use mine between 65-75watts, and the only reason I don't use it at 100watts, is because I have already melted the insulator on my Plume veil clone when I was hitting it at 100watts. I got lucky that the guy I bought it off of, had spare insulators. 100watts is not bad at all, if you have a good build, and lots of airflow.

Wish there was more info on this!!. are they changing the screen display on the 150w??
.... stuck between the IPV3, Sig150w, and Sig100 plus

That Sig display is ugly, imo

There will always be something newer coming out, you could find yourself stuck in an ever revolving door of new options.

This is where i am at right now I have seen the IPV3 in person and like it but the Sig seem to be less expensive.

I have an ipv3 and I really like it but the Sig that is out now and priced at about 75.00 is a great value imo. I don't own a Sig 100w but it was on my radar when I made the ipv3 purchase. If the Sig would of been priced at the current price when I purchased I am sure I would be a Sig owner. I am totally satisfied with the performance of my ipv3 though as it has the sliding pin and has never given me any issues so far.

is there much of a difference between the sig 100w and the sig 100w+?

I am only speculating here, but I would bet it has the spring loaded 510, and as far as size it LOOKS to be the exact same box as the plus model just with blacked out buttons and no wavy lines milled into it. So in that case I think it is still bigger than the IVP3.

As far as the plus version being a limited run, I have no idea.

I am glad that I have waited, this 150W Sigelei looks much better in terms of aesthetics, I guess they got rid of Stevie Wonder as the head of their design team.
This is a time where I am actually happy that they seem to have cut corners...

If it was painful or dangerous for you to run at 150W then that would be because you don't understand how to build for it, therefore a wise decision for you not to attempt it. This is not a dig at you, but at the misconception that comes with high-wattage vaping.
Currently on a mech I use a single 0.5ohm coil which is like 35Watts, dual coil would be 70Watts which I don't do due to diminished battery life. It is a cool vape, but with a nice amount of cloud, the 70W would still be a cool vape, just with a larger cloud.
Now if I add more wraps to my coil then I am going to need more power to heat it up, which is what I plan on doing when I get this 150W mod, so I for one can see the benefit of having all that available power.

In my opinion, the people who get on these forums complaining about all this power in these mods (which many of them have bought, I might add), are the ones who are going to help cause a stir in the industry eventually, more than likely. They buy these high-powered devices and obviously don't know how to properly use them. If they did, they would NOT be complaining of the "painful" vape from them. Perhaps these people should stick with the lower-powered devices like the dna 30's, or less. Like you said in your comment, the larger the coils, the more power required to get a cloud. If these people don't want a full, cloud-chasing type vape, then either stay down below 50 watts, or use a different, lower-powered device. Eventually the wrong people (the FDA, for instance) will read these comments from people like these and it will only give them more ammunition to use in their efforts to regulate away our freedom in this industry! If you don't like 150 watts, then DON"T VAPE AT 150 WATTS!

The 150w will have the same display screen, spring loaded pin, and 10-150w.. I'm stuck between this and the Plus, but think I might go.for the Plus..
:)
Hey guys, is 100w enough if I want to ge into high-resistance, high voltage vaping? I usually sub ohm, but I want to try high-ohm, high voltage vaping.
.. would I need more than 100w for that?

The idea of high ohm high voltage vaping is not going to be what you are thinking it will be. The sig has limits, and ohm's law cannot be beat by a mod.

sig150 limits.
volts 1-7
ohms .15-3
watts 10-150

at 3ohms and 10 watts, you are already at 5.48volts, you reach the 7 volt limit at 16watts
at 2ohms and 10 watts, you are already at 4.47volts, and reach the 7 volt limit at 21watts
at 3ohms and 100 watts, you would need 17.32volts

Had one for a couple day now and love it. Button is wonderful. I don't vape at high watts but like the battery life and looks. The button is wonderful. It comes with a skin that was a nice surprise. Very similar to the vaporshark skins. Overall very happy with it. It's replaced my T8 as my vaporshark sidekick.
